    Morning all

Round, you’ve done amazingly. I hope you are going to be spoilt tomorrow. ;)

More vodka heading your way, Piggers.

I’m up, showered, dw emptied. Just realised that I have forgotten to turn wm on.

I have a cake to ice for a friend’s birthday. I made the cake late yesterday evening which in hindsight was a good move as I would have been stressed about it today otherwise. I am taxiing DD, have skirting board to paint in the (maybe) soon ex RoD, then friend’s birthday do to go to. Enough for one day I think, especially if I actually manage to get the paintwork done.
    Have a lovely day all.
  • Round you have done so well, you must be so chuffed with yourself. And Piggers hope things are OK with your family. Doesnt get any easy when they are all grown up does it?

So.. Have done 2 hours studying making 5.5 hours altogether this week on top of the paid stuff, determined to get these exams passed by the end of October if I can.

DH is at work so that leaves me the rest of the day to do whatever I please, this is very exciting as I rarely get time on my own that isnt taken up by things that must be done.

The kitchen could do with a bit of a clean, there is some washing to be hang out and some clean washing to put away, and I should really update my finance spreadsheets but after that who knows?

Hope everyone has a good Saturday x

Washed Vans are now stood outside drying - they've come up really well :D. Towel 'bumpers' are pegged out on the line.

I've been in to town and dropped off DS's suit at the launderette / dry cleaners (plus got a price for cleaning three jackets, which I will drop off when I pick up the suit :T)

Dropped off two bags of books and a large box of (mostly) men's clothes at cs - a few books in there plus a child's jacket.

    Filled up with petrol.

Found a faux grey leather jacket hidden under the suit jackets - it is now hung on the coat stand - where DS can see it and decide whether it's a keep or a fling.

I need a lie down now :rotfl:

  • Pizzageddon has been cleaned up. It took the grand sum of the time it took the kettle to boil. And it's a rapid boil kettle.

Now sitting with a coffee in the slightly autumnal sunshine, making evil plans for Himself - there's a humungous coffee machine sitting up in the loft and I've laid the groundwork by getting him to think that it might be nice to move the kettle and things over by the boiler, rather than on top of the WM.

I'm not intending upon doing anything much today, but if he does that, I suppose there will be some reorganising and a bit of countertop scrubbing involved.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Happy Birthday for tomorrow.. xxx

If they are suede dash over with a brush .. but carpet and upholstery cleaner is most effective against paint from what I have experienced after years of painty school clothes..

Thank you pigpen xx The Vans are canvas and it was powder paint, so they've come up well.... far better than I expected. (Part of me thought they might disintegrate in WM :o) Hugs to you and all your chicks xx

Thank you Fayolle xx Going out for lunch tomorrow with DS, his GF, my dad, DS's Dad & his wife. Sounds weird when you put it like that. but we are: one weird extended family :D

Thank you YL xx I must admit that I grin every time I walk past the loaded coat stand and clear table - but it does illuminate how cluttered everywhere else is, It will be done :D

What are you studying? Good on ya - not easy adding study to everything else that life involves. xx

I'm going to have a coffee and read some more of the book recommended by the counsellor that I had just bought before she recommended it. Out of all the books in all the world …. :rotfl:

    Afternoon all

Kitchen still ongoing! I went out first thing to get some collapsible crates among other things but Mr T and Mr S hadn't got any and it was too early to go anywhere else so I need to go out again later. Not a lot done other than that although I'm in the process of sorting out a box of stuff in my LR.

Piggers - hugs - you know you don't have a choice about hugs from me!

Roundtuit - enjoy your birthday lunch tomorrow.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

One load of washing out, and now its raining. Going to go in DSs room and strip his bed, he is supposed to do it but its weeks since it was done and I am sick of nagging him. 3 weeks till he goes to Uni and then his room will get a major deep clean.

Then once I have got his sheets in I am going to sit down and read for a bit.

R I am studying for a specialist qualification that I need for my job, its the equivalent of an A level and its really hard going but I didnt really have any choice about doing it. I work 33 hours and usually try to not study on a weekend but that didnt happen this week. Will be so glad when its done!

Right, off to drink this tea before it gets cold and fight my way to DSs bed!

Have texted a friend offering plums and persuaded other NDN to take more plums than he originally planned:rotfl:

My slimming world slimmer of the week basket offering will be plums. I hope I don't win:rotfl:

I’ve just brought the washing in as it is ominously grey overhead. Skirting board painted, quick sandwich, then it is window ledge painting time.

And it’s just started to rain.......
