That's very funny :rotfl: Our cats have bitten us on the nose, walked all over us & played with anything that makes a racket to wake us up for breakfast. And they sleep where they choose although we do prefer it when they opt to be with us.0 -
Yep I hear that one! Its always a great way to start the day being clawed in the foot or nipped on the face......just who is boss in this relationship???? :rotfl:
Our cat basically has free reign and it depends on the weather where she sleeps. In the summer its on the floor strteched out but when it gets colder she has a shoebox by the radiator or she gets under the duvet on the spare room bed0 -
Two of ours(Annie & Phoebe) always sleep in the bed with us(one of them has recently decided(Monday of this week) that she has to sleep under the duvet with us:eek: . Rupert chops and chooses so we often have him in with us as well. The other 4 always sleep in the living room. Fergal likes "his" box(an Able & Cole veg box:rotfl: )or the top of one of the sofas Livingstone(Avatar) and Simon sleep curled up together. Lucy who is a rather grand lady sleeps on the other sofa sprawled out. We come a very poor second to our cats in this house but to be honest we wouldn't have it any other way.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

My dog sleeps in the kitchen in her bed under the table & loves it there she never wants to come up stairs when I go to bed. She has a dog flap so like to pop in & out at night anyway.Life's what you make it.:j0

Our dog sleeps in his bed, under our bed.0

Floss sleeps on our bed. Its a habit I got into when OH was away working and I was finding the bed a bit big on my own! She'll pretty much please herself during the night....on...off...on...off...!
Mind you, Floss started off as my mum's dog and she never made her sleep in a bed of her own as a pup so its my mum's fault really!DFW Nerd no 239.....Last Personal Debt paid off Nov 2012!

I have 2 dogs and they both sleep on their beds in our bedroom. I think it's pretty normal for dogs to want to be with the their owners, especially at night.
I doubt you could "teach" a cat to sleep somewhere, as another poster said, cats do as they please. I don't think they do "sit" and "stay" very well :rotfl:0 -
Both cats sleep wherever they like. Sofa's, beds....
If I could do it all again from the beginning i would get them NOT to sleep on the bed- yes its all lovely and warm and nice, but not nice when they wake me up at 2,3,4,5, or 6 in the morning because they want to go out. (I don't have a cat flap).
Do like it though when I wake up because one of their whiskers are tickling my face !!!MTC's NO MORE PIES MEMBER NO 202 !!!
