Fingers crossed with the savings target!
    Debt free Feb 2021 🎉
  • This weekend was really nice - caught up friends on both friday and saturday and both were unexpected so big thumbs up!

I've been trying to cut down and lose a bit of weight as I have put it on and don't like it! So upto friday was doing well and then I screwed myself over this weekend - my body was just craving calories  :# I'm gutted  :'( today is another day and pick up from friday. hmmm

On the money side - not really spent anything this weekend which is great. I need to do my CV and start applying for jobs. Must admit I am mentally avoiding this as job hunting is pretty soul destroying, anyway I know it needs to be done so I will set aside some time to do this. On the flip side I have done some study which I am pleased about. Today I am going to carry on with that as well. Oh and heard back from the driving instructor; I'd booked lessons to start in July literally days before lockdown started and  then of course everything came to a halt and it will be delayed a bit.

Oh my it's Thursday and the hottest day of the year to date. Currently sat in the garden with a cuppa & big bowl of porrage & attempting to tackle a bit of accounts study. Kids and phone is interrupting me though.

Yesterday was a bad day with home schooling. Eldest just lack of interest grrr! Putting that aside we had a bit of fun last night and put up the new tent in the garden to test it out. Good that we did as the instructions were lacking. More info how to take it down than put it up! So lots of head scratching🤔. Anyway now it's up it's great!

Spending has been minimal do far this week. Shared food shop with OH and mine came to £25. I'm trying to keep to under £30 p/wk as we have a reasonable amount of food in the freezer.

Diet started again yesterday after the weekend 😵. Back to using my fitness pro as had some success with that last year. Day 2 wish me luck.

    Happy Monday,

We had a visit from my sister aka Auntie C came and the kids loved it! Really lovely to see a member of my family. We had fun and made a mess of the kitchen making brownies! yum yum. Made them with beetroot to balance the calories

On Saturday before Auntie C arrived I hit the Sains instead of my regular lidl and bought a top, jumper and cardigan in the sale. Got the checkout and the cardigan was 99p! This was my definite bargain of the year so far. It was meant to be half price so £9 so was pleasantly surprised :) All three items came in for £14.49! Applied for my first job post the nightmare job and didn't get it, ah man I dislike job hunting, hey ho.

Diet still going strong - now on day 5 and scales have reduced by half a kg but my weight fluctuates a bit but its a start. Kid free day so cracking on with study and things I can't do at home with the kids around.

Hope everyone else having a good day.

Today has turned out quite nice and productive. Most of the day was spent sorting out the files on my computer & generally getting myself a bit more organised. When the kids are not around I can concentrate more on the task in hand. My photos are in quite a disorganised state in random folders & I intend to get some printed and put up to make my home more homely.

Went for a walk today and bought myself a beautiful deep pink hydranger to brighten up my work station and spotted pumpkin seeds so with the kids we'll get these into the propagator this week. How fun it would be to carve out our own pumpkins come halloween. Mr postman also delivered a new reading book! So excited!

    Have a nice evening  <3

  • Its a week since a bit of a kick up the bum moment and since have been religiously recording my food intake and getting myself out for exercise nearly every day. Today's run was great pushed myself a bit more and came home to a you tube yoga session. Given my workstation a good clean and time to crack on with studying.

    Have a nice day   <3

    Hello Saturday,

Where has the sun gone? its a bit yukky today. The kids should be with their dad but a bit of a miss communication so they are with me, love me kids but was looking forward to the quiet time too. I was hoping for quiet house to study last night but ended up no study and watching Babe film instead.

Mini me has taken the pin pad for my bank and of course can I find it? no  :'( so need to call the bank for a replacement, this brings me out in cold sweats just trying to remember the never ending list of secret codes and numbers to pass through security, is it too early for wine?

Was paid an unexpected last payment from job yesterday so that was a nice surprise & I think child benefit application might have gone through too. No paperwork as yet to confirm.

Today I need to muster the kids to do some artwork - this is not our strongest point at all as this has to be submitted on monday. So in Queen (mummy bee) wisdom decided to cut up the Week Junior old magazines to produce our masterpiece. Fingers crossed it looks reasonable!

  • Well the kids have gone to dads and I've got a bit of time to myself, so cracking out the prosecco!

Yesterday my eldest cracked learning to ride his bike so I was well chuffed, we have taken the stabilisers off mini me's bike so hopefully he will be motoring just like his brother very soon.

Well done on the bike riding. My smallest has amazing gross motor skills but yet just can't seem to crack the bike thing!

I ordered a new pin through online banking, so if you're are registered maybe have a look there.

  • Errgh! Woken up feeling like i've had little sleep. I think the no working is getting to me more than I realise. Been busy studying during the day and pottering around the house. Hopefully this will pass as I have been generally in a good positive mood.
