Yay love your chart. And well done on the home schooling, I have one going into year four in September hopefully too. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that that is the date they all go back.2

Last night the rain started at the right time, I was just about to start watering the plants & veggie patch when a great big shower came down! Great timing!
Yesterday I re-jigged my spreadsheets taking into account divorce money which has now come through - this is good timing too as with no job and no benefits yet. Yesterday we had a lot of fun with kids in the garden making zip lines and putting various cuddly toys down it. It was surprising how long it kept them entertained. Went for a run yesterday with plenty of jeffing - I am so unfit atm. Anyway after having a lovely salad for tea & getting the kids to bed at a reasonable time I go and spoil the good efforts by tucking into chocolate! Stupid me, really enjoyed it though so today I am going for another run and no chocolate! I am trying to limit my intake of junk foods to the weekends. Watched a program that made me think a bit about my past and was interesting. I'll update my paper journal with more details on it.
So today's task is trying to figure out the basics of crochet. I am going to watch some you tube videos. Wish me luck, will post a picture later of my efforts oh a bit more home schooling. Kids with dad tomorrow for a couple of days.2025 financial goals & challenges!

So yesterday turned into quite a nice relaxing day at home. The kids were quite happy to potter about with their stuff. I went to my friends house in the afternoon in to up skill in crochet but progress has been v slow. Figured out the chain part now trying to do the first row of stitches. Hmmm not as easy as it looks on the instructions.
Went out for a run yesterday morning and oh boy it was hot. Today I need to do some more exercise. Thinking of trying a yoga or stretching YouTube. I love you tube by the way. The pea shoots were planted yesterday evening and happy to report when I checked on them this morning they survived the first night! Fingers crossed for peas!
Right now I'm in the garden reading. I've got some work related learning I've been putting off starting and I have my accountancy training to start too. I also have this month's book club book to pour through so all in all a nice kid free day. Keeping my fingers crossed for dry day tomorrow so me and OH can pitch the tent in the garden for no other reason but why not. I'd like to sleep out but we don't yet have an airbed.2025 financial goals & challenges!

Hey sounds like a lovely time! And im with you on the crochet. I tried one time and I was rubbish, really couldn’t get the hang of it! And camping wise, we slept on 2 double duvets, it was soft enough, if that helps.2

Hello Friday, we've made it to the end of the week! Not much to report, weds turned out to be a bit of an expensive day because we spent a bit more than expected (grrr bloody face masks!) in the supermarket and then a pizza treat as our favourite local restaurant has now opened for take away.
Home schooling is still well home schooling, a challenge but we are getting there and I am up and out running about a bit more than I was last week. I am not happy with what's on the scales
Loving the book I am currently reading and pleased to report I have finally got into the accountancy studies again. I'm actually really enjoying learning again. Its a nice switch off to home schooling.
Crochet is still very much work in progress
Oh and I am £25.21p away from a personal savings target - this target I'd set in 2018 when I focused my efforts on saving for a house deposit. Over the 2 years since I have got close and then something would happen and this would slip from my fingers, anyway I am hoping between now (19th June and 13th July) I can get over the line with this figure! Fingers crossed...!!2025 financial goals & challenges!
