So today I chucked myself out to the park for a jog, was listening to some very cheesy music 90s stuff. Must have helped as I went a bit further without stopping yay! Had a much needed haircut this morning too, really exciting!
Eldest went to school today briefly to see his current teacher and class mates - was fun by all accounts. Little one has it tomorrow with his teachers.
Had a bit of a wobble on the employment front this afternoon, not helped by the talk by the chancellor. Anyway trying to not worry.
Tomorrow need to ring the bank - of course I have forgotten my passwords for online banking. grrrr

Hey Clarissa, I’m so sorry I didn’t realise it had been so long since I’d been on your diary. Sounds like you’re doing super well on the weight loss and exercise front! I love cheesy 90s music to workout to.You’re so positive! I know what you mean about needing some quiet time to get stuff done. I’ve had the children for weeks and I just want w day to sort the washing etc!2

So today was actually a nice day. We took the kids to the park again for more fun on the bikes and me out for a run. Was interesting as this was the first where eldest kid was riding his bike alongside me. He is still very green and needs reassurance but we are getting there and we just had fun. School work hasnt really happened but hey ho.
Little one went to school today and it was actually really nice to do something normal.
Had a big pack of reduced chicken breasts to cook with so made a curry for the weekend for me and OH and fajitas with the other half. Kids loved it. Tried to do a bit of study but was feeling tired so not quite sure what information was taken in.

Hello Sunday,
I've kinda been dreading today because I have my first driving lesson in 15 years this afternoon and eeek! Weather conditions are perfect, nerves bit hay wire but this is a big step forward to getting a bit more freedom. I hope we just go around quiet streets to get me back in the saddle.2025 financial goals & challenges!

Bit of a weird day - anxiety is something that can get the better of me so I was really unproductive until the driving lesson. Lesson went well, the instructor was lovely and pleased to make a start on this.
Learn't a few excel skills this morning and a relaxed evening after the lesson. Heading to bed for a reasonable early night and hopefully start tomorrow a fresh.2025 financial goals & challenges!

Morning diary, instead of staying in bed I got up early and out for a run. Was a bit tricky as my phone is playing up so no music to run to. It was annoying having to listen to my own breathing lol. Tried to recall two acronyms i'm learning for my studies and remembered about half - so more work to do on this front.
Got a few errands to do at home and need to pop to the shops before the kids come back later today. Need to plan home schooling this week. School have set a sports day task so going to give that a go, should be a lot of fun.2025 financial goals & challenges!

Today is 13th of the month and accounts reconciliation day. So I have now paid off 21% off my debt which in reality is £2264.32 paid off. Still got quite a big chunk to pay off but its nice to see it coming down to a lot more manageable amount. From now onwards until I get back into paid employment I am living on savings though which presents its own challenges.2025 financial goals & challenges!

Well done on the driving lesson. My husband never passed his test and it has limited him a bit. Made looking for a new job when he was unemployed harder, and in normal times he has to take two trains to work.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2
