An own space defendant should never leave court out of pocket. You really should give this judge something to think about. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I thought I read somewhere on this forum that last minute additions to evidence is not allowed as it is considered an "ambush"1
-
didn't seem to make any difference. the judge was on his side all the way1
-
Shame you had a judge that was completely ignorant ? There are some judges who would benefit a retraining programme. or being put out to grass, just like donkeys.
Our legal system has a lot to be desired .... here is a story today about a lorry on a SMART motorway, the driver ran into a van and killed the driver ?
The judge said the smart motorway was to blame and then sends the driver of the lorry to jail

If we have jokers in the high court, what chance in the lowest of all courts, the county court2 -
If a judge allowed an ambush then he misconducted then, imo, he/she is guilty of misconduct, read some of these

Did you object to the late submission? FOrmal term.2
-
at 10.25am (hearing was listed for 10.30am) this was submitted to the court. I received it as an email at 10.25am also.
with everything going on (I had my 8 month old baby with me) I know it sounds silly but I didn't formally object. I assumed the judge wouldn't allow it but he still took it as evidence. as I didn't officially object I doubt I have a case.
the judge said the evidence I had of the accounts not listing the land as an asset didn't prove anything necessarily.0 -
It proves it on the balance of prob! Its their claim to prove, and without that doc they had nothing.
It was your job to object. Its alwas your job to run your claim. The court doesnt give much help, sorry.2 -
they argued that it was irrelevant to whoever was parking there who owned the land anyway. the judge included that reference when summing up the case and he didn't seem to think the accounts proved they didn't own the land.0

obviously hindsight is a great thing and yes I should have had that evidence thrown out. I had a lot to remember and messed up on that point :-(2
