I dont mind being reasonable.
Can only show them for what they are.0 -
IMO these firms have no place in residential car parks, they depress rents and lower resale values. Are you familiar with this forum?

I was not aware - very interesting.
I have actually contacted my landlord, who referred me to the letting agent - who referred me to the building manageer - who referred me to the land and development manager who advised me to contact VCS with any and all queries :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::T
Im now in talks with the ICO directly. - Nothing VCS.
The Claim has been assigned to my local court - not heard a word from VCS at all or their solicitors.
No contract, zilch.
(Could be interesting in court),.
In the mean time, the other MSE poster who got my data has had his case dropped by VCS. Even if they dropped mine theyll be going to court defending the DPA breach.0 -

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes,
I was unaware of the data protection breach until after I had done my AoS - so too late to do a counterclaim.0 -
Did you see how this person got theirs cancelled after a court claim?
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6064422/pc-event-viewer-logs-as-evidence-ccbc-arrivedI originally emailed 2 stores I always visit on the site Barnardo charity and jack fulton, who did not reply.
Barnardo's told me the letting agents, who in turn told me the landowners agents. I ended up bouncing about 15 email/replies to a director at Savills. I reckon he saved the day but I don't think he knows what scammers vcs are and I guess they gave in to him , not me.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I did - given the convoluted chain between myself and the end land owner - who even the management company of the development could not confirm the odds of me getting to talk to the land owner are slim to none.
Also the land owner doesn't own or manage the building that I rented in.
To be honest I want this to go to court too - if they drop their claim it will be more difficult for me to argue that they never should have had my data in the first place as part the claim I will raise once the ICO has done.0 -
You wont see any evidnce until they post their WS to you. Same as every thread
When is your deadline to suibmit the WS?0 -

When is your deadline to suibmit the WS?
Im referring to the DPA breach only at that point - I dont expect anything from VCS until the WS is ready.
Need to double check deadline - no date has been set yet and I believe the WS is 14 days before the deadline?0 -
No, the WS is due when ever they tell you it is due. *often* it is 14 days before the date of the hearing, however it is not always the case.
I dont expec thtem to respond until you issue a claim, to be honest.0
