County Court (VCS) Residential PCN

Why are DCB looking to pay you? Were they or VCS the claimant? Who did the court order to make the payment?
PS - giving the claimant your bank sort code and account number is quite safe. When people used to pay by cheque then they were giving the other party all their bank details anyway.
You may be able to insist they pay by cheque but I don't know.0 -

DCB have contacted me wanting bank details to pay me. I really DONT want to provide them or VCS any more information on me than they already hold.
Am I within my rights to request they pay by cheque?
Ive asked the court too but waiting a response....
I doubt DCBL would play games with you, it would destroy them
I could NOT vouch for VCS though
Try asking for a cheque if you feel happy with that.0 -
I would have thought that when the cheque is cashed , the claimant would see your bank details on their statement , unless they got one from a bank and posted that instead ?
I don't see a problem with passing on those details , or open an account and have that account paid into , instead of a main account , or do you have a dormant savings account with £1 in it ? If so , use that one0 -
Hmm, suppose worst they can do is add yet another stick for me to beat them with.0
