Rock and a hard place now. You have a limited time to pay the judgment (check what that is, usually 1 month, but could be less) in order to avoid a credit trashing CCJ.You could then apply for a set aside - £275 which you might get back if you're successful with the set aside, or lose that and the £728 judgment - just north of £1k in total. If you get the set aside agreed, you'd then get the opportunity to defend the £728 charge with the potential to recover what you've paid to the claimant if you defend successfully. You could simply not pay the judgment (but you'll definitely have a CCJ), then risk everything on winning the set aside (which you might or might not get back), then get the opportunity to file a defence to fight the £728 charge. The NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, contains more info on the set aside process, so please read that. I'm not the expert on this, so others might chip in to add to my comments. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Does the CCJ contain amounrs for unlawful additions for debt collection, "contractual fee", etc., etc., etc. If so a judge might be disposed to award you the set aside fees.
Have you read this? Nothing has been done, Have you complained to your MP?

How do I pay the £275? I do not want this affect my credit score 😞You send it with the set aside application, to wherever that needs to be sent. As it was a default, with no local court allocated (which is where you'd normally file a set aside application), you might need to speak with the CCBC for advice. While you're speaking to the CCBC you could also ask them to confirm the date by when Judgment must be paid, then you'll have the info from the horse's mouth.Don't overly rush this, that's where error creeps in. Your credit rating isn't going to be affected instantly, but it will be if the judgment isn't paid by due date.I have sent them another email with all travel evidences. Not sure if they can take off my judgement against me and allow some time to respond. They won't respond in any helpful way to that. Judgment has been made, now it's pay up and/or set aside. You have to follow the full and correct procedure. No shortcuts. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
