And we all end up paying for such incompetence for any future financial services we use due to probably-higher Financial Services Compensation claims.

I've had a reply and it is no clearer. I'd already found and logged into the web platform version. I've been faffing around with it for half an hour now.
You can see I have blanked out my account name in yellow. There were 2 account numbers here, one which was called Uxxxxxx and another which was the Phoenix account I created, PXxxxxx.
There is no funds loaded in the account so I couldn't trade if I wanted to. Note, my ITI Capital accounts contain dividends and so there should be funds available. There are no instructions on how to buy shares soley in my ISA account or soley in the trading account.

I've tried things like entering the SYMBOL name and tried to get a price - for example, if one types in DGE (Diageo) in the Symbol field below, it doesn't recognise it as a stock.

  • Still no access to Phoenix - pending approval - at hour 50 from first applying...

I have money in my ITI account ,  tried to ssell but the sell option is not active.
On Phenix platfrom one can only buy shers if you put new funds into it.
I know someone said  before  that you may be able to sell your old svs (new ITI account), you canot transfer the old holding to Phenix account. So it is not helpfull if you are thinking to trade the old holding on this.
Therefore our accounts are still inactive, We are no better than before , only we can see in some cases losses more money due to inactivity.

I donot think you need to open a phenix account to transfer your old holding to an other trader.
I think there is no link between the old svs account and newly open phenix account. I have phenix account but I canot trasfer my old holdi g into it.
As for as I understand it is a new plartfrom let you deal with internatinal shares and currencies.
I donot know why one would like to open a phenix accouny unless you are going to stay with ITI and trade in all currencies.

Oh, if it was only that easy!! (I tried things like LSE:DGE). You have actually got to filter for the market you are interested in . And even then , you cant just say "show me all the FTSE100 so I can chose the share I want to buy".
Anyhow, I've managed to get some UK stocks on display and their prices. Perhaps a little progress made.

I can honestly say this is the most difficult of all trading platforms I've used!
