And the clubcard points aren't really worth the effort.

They are if you collect Avios.

    Or use Hotels.com

What is it that you need that you can't get in Tesco??? They have about a million product lines to choose from....which is one of the reasons we prefer Aldi - choice of one (or maybe 2 if you're lucky!!)

Believe it or not sometimes they have no milk.

That depends on the size of the store, surely? The Horncastle, Lincs store is tiny.

I dont find Tesco is really cheaper than it was .
Drop 10 p on one item up 15 p on another item.
However i shop on quality and what i actually like rather than price .
Aldi Lidl Asda Tesco Sainsburys + Home Bargains + others .

Don't be fooled. Ms Mollys ice lollies etc are maybe price matching Aldi, but basically all that kinda stuff is Tesco Value in a "marketable" name, so lower quality to the Aldi equivallent.

Equally some of Aldis stuff (more so in non food items) are really poor quality.

Aldi's thick bleach is 45p, but its extremely watery
Tesco's bleach is 3 for £1.20, and its actually thick.

I found similar in shower gel. Aldi"s version just being too watery to be fit for purpose.

I also find the shelf life on Aldi's fresh food to be a bit shorter than the main supermakets

Aldi's fruit and veg is better than it was but is still variable, in my experience. Shelf life is their major problem, so I will give you that.

As for the rest, I can find no faults with any Aldi cleaning products (their dishwasher tablets are the best I've used), their frozen food is very good and, where they beat Tesco and all the rest, is with their meat.

As for overall price comparisons, I find it impossible to imagine what sort of weekly shop could work out cheaper in Tesco. Maybe someone addicted to brand names could manage it but otherwise, I am quite sure Aldi would work out a lot cheaper.

Is that another 1000 in addition to the ones it increased in the first two weeks of this month?

I've just received some money off vouchers from Tesco but for a £60 shop. I wouldn't mind using it for store cupboard items on top of a weekly shop but I honestly don't know how I'd spend £60 in Tesco on things that I couldn't get more cheaply in Aldi.

    Any ideas?

You must be a big spender for them to set a £60 limit. I've just received my 4th consecutive batch of coupons, as with the previous batch they're for a £30 spend. I've given up looking now and just throw them straight in the recycling.
I got lucky with my first batch of coupons. A few of the branded products I still buy were 'on offer' anyway so I stocked up. There's only so many teabags and tubs of Clover you can stockpile though. For me to seriously consider shopping there they would have to offer 50% off.
