    I'm good thanks x
  • Ah, great news, hope your interview goes well! And the date too. ;)
  • Morning All

Quick money update, another £55 shaved off the pots from this week and sent straight to the credit cards. Two NSD's in a row maybe a 3rd today although i really need to pick up some new school trousers for my son, all budgeted for.

Ive re done the budget, will need tweaking no doubt as and when the interest is determined on the card for the month and childcare costs confirmed, but as a rough estimate I will be able to direct a firm £400 to the card, with a shaving of of pots and frugal living, I think i will be able to get another £70. So next month looking at a payment of £470 as a goal to be gone forever.

Been thinking about my goal for a debt free date and the repayment calculator suggests at £400 per month I can be debt free in 4.5 months which would be amazing! as its me, i'm going to push myself for 4 months.

    Happy Friday All x

  • This debt busting is so addictive!!

I have managed to pay off another £112.75 from the credit card this week, the total now standing at £1608.88. I have don’t this from skimming my unused food and fuel budget, plus not spending from my entertainment budget this weekend. I’m currently sat doing surveys as my next goal is to get it safely into the next hundreds before the interest is added!

P.s- the date went really well yesterday, so today I’m feeling very pleased with myself!

P.P.S- was also given a date for the 2nd interview, first week of November!

    I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend x

Well done on keeping not only within budget but well within and being in a position to send underspends to credit card. You are doing great at this debt busting lark.

Glad your date went well and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

  • Hi Guys

I hope you are all ok. I’ve been a bit AWOL this week with RL stuff going on, but my debt busting is continuing. So far this week I’ve shaved an extra £55 off my budget, however, I’m going to put this aside this week rather than pay straight off the CC just because I have a couple of birthdays etc coming up that I don’t want to get caught short for although I’m 90% sure I won’t need it, I really don’t want to risk it!

Interview has been set for next Wednesday so need to spend the weekend preparing a presentation for that. They’ve said they are only doing a 2 stage process now, so should know the outcome by early part of the week after.

New guy is also going really well, the first time in 5 years I’ve met someone I actually really like, so long may that continue!

I’ve hardly used the car this week so I’ve still got nearly a full tank with top up day tomorrow so hopefully I will have saved another £40 to throw at the debt!

Oh I’ve also nearly completed 50% of my Christmas shop, with a saving from budget of £59 off the budget so far! Really impressed with that. I’m going to start working out my yearly budget in the next few weeks, the fact I’ve put some money away in advance has made it so much easier this year, so spreading over a full year next year is going to be amazing!

    Xx
