If you have purchased a licence via eBay, then you don't need to bother to install Windows 7 firstly. The only reason you were to do that, was to enable you to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro(and not Home)
But if you have purchased a licence, then you can install Windows 10 Pro directly to the SSD and simply enter the product key.

    I understand.

    I will do that then.

Do not think win 7 natively recognises Trim, but easy to enable. Not sure of the 4k sector alignment either?

Just checking the obvious. Has the SSD been installed with a new windows? It won't boot without it.
