I decided to ring the Surgery to make an appointment as it's hanging over me like Eeyore's cloud :( Number 1 in the queue so I held on. Receptionist said no appointments available this week, and rota not up for next week but would I try again this afternoon!!! I don't have the wherewithal to argue :( However... I'd looked up the Surgery's telephone number on their website and they have this on-line consultation facility - so I've registered and submitted my query. Not sure a GP appointment is what I need - I already take my meds. But a sick note may be needed if I still feel like this next week What is the best course of action? So we'll see what the outcome is!

And, because I had to access my email account to obtain my one-time password for the facility, I've decluttered 70+ emails from my inbox :T That's still flying? Yeah?

    Hi all

Taking a break from paid stuff. Not being very productive, I am too hot and I have a stinking headache brewing. Going to get a cool drink and some painkillers and hope it eases off, will see if I can find a shady spot outside to sit in for a little while.

Have put a wash on line which is probably dry by now. No other flying done but it will have to wait.

    Back later x

There are no shady spots! Well at least not in my garden anyway!!

Have had a drink and parrots and am feeling marginally better, at least the sun has now moved off the windows of my office so I can open the blinds and the windows and get at least a little bit of a breeze.

I know I shouldn’t be moaning about the weather but it is just a tad too warm for me!

Back to work for the rest of the paid stuff, mostly meetings this afternoon so probably not very productive again. Oh well, catch up can be done tomorrow or Friday.

Hope you are all having a good day. Stay hydrated and don’t overdo it!

    Bye for now x

Afternoon all. As expected no flying was done yesterday, but I had a great day. Today, I've just done my first work shift and some essential banking paperwork.

About to get out for some exercise. See you all later.

Dining room finally clean - full level 3. I have a fan on in here (it's often where I sit, at the table).
And thank you (I think) for the GUAG that someone's not using because I've stripped DS's bed and taken it upon myself to do a little flinging (empty, dusty shoeboxes - why?) and vacuuming in there. And dusting. On my (still only mental) Summer Job List (it's getting serious lol) giving his room a good 'bottoming' features. This will make that even easier when I get to it. And if I don't get around to it it will have been partially done. So, as far as I am concerned it's a win-win.

Well. I'm not sure how the Surgery intended to get back to me following my online enquiry but I've had my mobile phone with me at all times, regularly checked my emails, and even went back to the Surgery homepage to see if there was anything on there - no messages.

So I registered with the Patient Access facility; linked with the Surgery; and I've booked myself an appointment next Tuesday at 11am with my preferred doctor :T (Although there is a cynical side to me that thinks I'll turn up and they'll deny all knowledge of....)

…Serendipity. Landline rang. Surgery wanted to make me an appointment next week. Told caller I've already made one online - and asked her to check this was on their system. It is :T And as that is what she was going to recommend I just beat her to it.

And breathe - that is one huge amount of anxiety decluttered and I'm counting it as flying :D

Already has been here "dahhnn saaf" and we are expecting the late 30s tomorrow  I plan on doing very little unless it can be achieved sitting in the living room with the fan on. It's far too hot for anything else!

I'm sure I've missed stuff on Fred so please accept hugs, congrats, positive vibes, etc. as required xx
