OK, I'm in again today. Only to level 2 though ( it's too hot for floor scrubbing).

    Morning all.

Fayolle, I hope your DD's results were OK xx

I spent all yesterday evening in front of the TV :D But, in my defence, I had knocked one item off my to-do list which had been there for a year

    This morning I have
    - pulled down blinds in kitchen and DR at 07.15 because it was blazing hot in there - now the sun has done a disappearing act!
    - ushered a bee back out into the garden
    - QHI done in utility with back door open - lovely and cool in there ;)
    - kitchen tidied - OH will make breakfast and doubtless leave it in a mess again :(
    - checked finances after a week of spending
    - stripped our bed - much easier than usual, as we've only had the light duvet cover over us, without the duvet:cool: - and started WM
    - remembered to put my iPod on to charge as I need music this afternoon ;)

The printer is playing up big time and I've got stuff that I need to print for this afternoon :(

    Also to do today:
    - shower and dress
    - bathroom Levels 1-3
    - send email and text message reminders for Toddlers
    - set up a FB Group for Toddlers' families
    - make phonecalls
    - check addresses and complete register
    - order leaflets
    - file papers
    - sort birthday cards and gifts
    - visit a care home - the one where they serve scrummy cake at 3.00 pm ;)
    - visit the £1 shops
    - plan more activities for Toddlers and their KS1 siblings - beach party, anyone?
    - watch a video (for work!) while DH is out this evening

One day I might even get out and do some gardening :(

Hope everyone has a lovely day - especially Froddy :D xx

    Hello

flc: I'm at home! Brain is totally fried. Called in to Head Office yesterday to tell my Supervisor that I'm struggling to cope with the situation at work and it's affecting my home life too. She escalated this to her manager (who put me in this position in the first place). Said manager is coming to the office on Thursday to 'assess' the situation. How the bleep is she going to do that? Moaning Myrtle, hereafter known as MM, smarms all over managers, she's not going to sit and moan/ snipe / complain in front of her !!!!!!. Anyway, I [STRIKE]dragged myself[/STRIKE] went to work this morning as usual 'til one of the clinical staff came in, took one look at me, and said 'are you alright? You're not, are you?' and the walls came tumbling down. She advised me to come home and take time out. So I have - and, right this minute, I have no idea when I'll be going back. Or if!

So, I'm at home. And 'home' is showing all the signs of prolonged neglect that indicate I have not been coping for a while. Hovel is too good a word. I actually stood in the kitchen and cried at it when I went in there this morning:( Although to be fair to the kitchen I could have stood in any room and bawled at the state of it. Except for the H/S/L - they're clear and not too bad if you don't look up :o (cobwebs) and maybe squinting a little would be good. You get the picture. :(

So, I'm sat here too mentally / emotionally drained to think straight but 'with it' enough to seek sanctuary in the arms of flylady. And the only way is up!

Baby steps - feel free to block me if you get sick of my posts :o

Step 1. There are two bags of books for the charity shop on the kitchen worktop by the draining board - I'm going to label them (for Gift Aid) and put them in the boot of my car

    Thank you

    (((Hugs))) Round.
    Welcome Bexter!

I'm going to spend a lot of time today clearing out my email Inbox and sorting out the photographs on my main computer. It's all a bit out of hand.

I did most of the bathroom listy on Sunday, the shower room hasn't been touched since I last cleaned it after the last guests left and Layla had a very bad night, so I'm a bit short of sleep.
    Better is good enough.

Lunch time for me, second wash load just put on line, first is already dry!!

Sending huge and dodgy hugs to Round and anyone else who needs them :grouphug:

Eating lunch in the garden under the parasol, very civilised.

Will swish over the bathroom before heading back to the sauna that is my office. Wonder if it might be good for weight los??? If only!!!

Have a good afternoon all, back later for another progress report x

Thank you Honey Bear and Badcat xx Flylady support is the best :heartsmil

Bags of books are now in the car boot.
    I've also:
    put rubbish out
taken clean clothes off airer and folded
    put away airer
taken clean clothes (already folded) out of wash basket and added to piles of clean clothes (from airer) waiting to go upstairs
    put away wash basket
    tidied wayward shoes
retrieved dirty washing from DS's overnight bag
recycled cereal box and toilet roll inner tube
set WM swishing with towels / tea towels
filled a shallow dish with water in back garden for any passing wildlife to drink
put sun cream etc in cupboard under the sink (with the rest - needs a good sort out but at least they're no longer cluttering up the work top :) )
put new wash scrunchie thing in drawer
put DS's speaker in his cubby hole.

I can see floor and work top now - not all of it, but every little helps.

Step 2. I will rinse and recycle all the empty cans in the kitchen :o

decluttered £££ because the rabbit is unwell - ulcer on eye. If the £50+ worth of lotions and potions don't do the job it will be an op to remove ...at £250. Bunny get well vibes please
