Grass still not cut. Instead I moved a few pots around to open up the view to the 'lawn' from the patio. Took longer than I planned and I nearly pulled out of meeting up with friends. DH came home and said go out, so I did! Well, what a surprise - tea, cake presents and cards- for 'my kindness'.

    Grass cutting next.

Sounds like you are all being very productive!

    Paid stuff done.
Bins emptied and wiped out with disinfectant. (They were thoroughly washed on Sat)
Hoovered and mopped kitchen dining room and hallway.
    Rest of dailies done.

That’s all my flying today apart from the after supper clean up. It’s very warm and forecast is to get much warmer tomorrow!

Have a lovely evening all x

The grass is now cut back and front. The only job on my list that I didn't get done was cleaning the car but I have to get ready to go out again now.

    See you all tomorrow.

Today's and tomorrows list done *smug* but not written the Summer List yet - although I actually have started on some of the Summer List jobs.
I also stripped my bed. And decluttered weight at SW *faints*

We have decluttered a hospital appointment and run some errands including getting cards for the many August birthdays. A fair attempt has been made at the lists, even managing to mop the kitchen floor. I did have to vacuum the cobwebs off the mop bucket though....I’ve been a slacking flylady recently. One load of washing has been washed, dried and ironed - result.
Thank you for keeping me on track.

Done very little.. washing caught up on again.. all the stuff line dried is folded and away.. I'm thinking I might be better off washing and drying the stuff which just needs folding.. at least it gets done!!

OH made the flower borders pretty in the garden.. there is still a mountain to be binned and sorted out there though. He is next off Thursday and we ARE going out.. if it is nice we may trot off to the beach with a picnic!

I may have bought 4 dresses a pair of shoes and a handbag for the wedding we are going to in 3 weeks.. I will send 2 or 3 back but I'm not sure which I like. I will need a strapless bra for 2 of them though as they are bardot style and I might have to knit myself a shoulder drapery to keep the sun off and keep me warm.. I am thinking I might just buy a huge floppy hat which I can wear throughout summer.. I have got silver flatform wedges (assuming they fit my fat feet!) and a silver bag so not really sure.. I will see about the dress first.

Dirty pots all caught up on too and the recycling and binning dealt with and we did a tesco shop too so I binned some furry fruit and droopy veg and mouldy beans from the fridge.. I needed space! Topped up the freezer.. I really need to run them down.. I even have a large turkey I got for a few quids (about 10% normal price) in January.. it might need to be a casserole.. I LOVE the legs.

    coded :

OH changed his hospital appointment so we need to rush back the morning after the wedding. My mother has chased my stepdads appointment so his stoma can be done ASAP hopefully before peritonitis sets in.. he is in a bit of a state at the moment. MIL was finally released from the hospital today.. I'm really not sure what we are supposed to be doing about visiting. SIL said we weren't to go but MIL is begging us to go.. and I have no idea.. It has been noticed SIL will do anything to get attention away from OH and the girls so it is possible it is just her up to her old tricks.. She begrudges any and all attention they get.. it is utterly pathetic.. but, I say nothing, not my family, but if she was my sister I'd have eaten her ears by now.. blooming families, who'd have them?! lol..

Suppose I should go to bed.. 1:47am.. I've had a scone and a cuppa.. I'm not eating tomorrow lol..

Love and hugs and belly button fluff to all xx

Just put a WM load in. Not really slept as too hot so this is the third. I have washed towels, bath mat and oven gloves and pot holders. DW run too. It's already hot. Will keep bedroom curtains and LR curtains shut at least all morning. Sun hits the front first thing.

    Good morning all
First day back at work after what feels like forever off. Not looking forward ...

DW emptied. Fish defrosting in the fridge for a quick dinner tonight. Curtains are staying shut all day. I’ve thought about doing HHI before I go but then decided to heed the list. It will have to wait.

I suppose that I had better breakfast then buck my ideas up. I’m hoping that I can carry on from yesterday and so at least do level 1 when I get home. Maybe even write my list.

Have a lovely day all and keep cool.

    Morning all.

I am out most of the day today but will see what I can get done. Priority is watering the garden when I've had this cuppa.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all

    Going to be hot today!
Bathrooms were scrubbed from top to bottom on the weekend and are still are still looking pretty good. However, I will still given them a going over today to keep up with it.
Full day of paid stuff to be done, also going for a swim after work.
Tea slurped and breakfast eaten, time to get moving for me!
Have a lovely day all x
