Hi all,
Hester:bdaycake::bdaycake:Happy birthday...no cake for lodger....suggest that you tell her you are doubling her rent in anticipation of paying any fines you may have when police find out what she is doing and arrest you! She has some cheek, how long more is she meant to be with you?? Would have thrown her out long ago myself and I have been known as a soft touch on several occasions.
Taplady...IBS seems to be in my family in varying degrees of severity...we have found that different things help and hinder different people, so do a little testing to see what you can eat comfortably, being sure that you are getting enough protein if your main protein source has normally been meat.
PenPin, sorry that you are feeling carp, hope that you feel better soon.
Still knitting like Madame Defarge to get the stuff finished for Christmas but seems to be coming together now...2 gifts wrapped, no cards written, have started the annual Christmas letter which goes to the people we don't see very often.
Hugs to all not feeling the best, and to those who are not posting at the moment...we miss you all

Just made crumble and think I overworked it slightly - it's gone like pastry?????
Dinner is beef stew, with dumplings and yorkshires, followed by apple crumble.
Have put a load of washing on, done the ironing (there was only 4 bits) and stripped our bedWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
