    morning all

bit damp and cold here but no snow, supposed to be really cold at the weekend though

i have managed to get the dgs's toys for xmas, everywhere was sold out so was beginning to panic but all sorted now

went to see my elderly neighbour in her care home last night, had been a big house at one time and it was very cosy with welcoming staff, we were offered a cup of tea but at the price she is paying i would think so
i thought she was looking well and cared for though a bit muddled

hester i would agree with everyone to keep yourself right with the lodger esp when she gave your home phone number
elona and churchmouse well done to your dd and ds3 on getting their jobs
hilstep being a granny is lovely
aussielass the tomato relish sounds good

    Morning all,

Not raining today :j , but off to W**k today so dont really mind either way.

DD is at nans for the night tonight, its DD's birthday next week, and nan is taking her to new look to choose her pressie and then off for burger and chips, so she is excited.

Go shepherds pie for tea tonight, all made in the fridge, and veg already done, so all easy when I get in from work.

The turkey crown we had last night from sainsbugs was delicious, really tasty and tender, and just enough for the three of us, will be getting that again. It felt and smelt like christmas in here last night.

Wrapped all of my pressies last night, so that's out of the way.

Happy Birthday Hester, enjoy your day  :j :T

Mrs_Mix, is it your op tomorrow ? if so all the very best to you xx

    Congrats to hillstep:j :j

Love to every one else have good days xx

Hilstep Fantastic news, I have been a Granny for 14 weeks, and it is fabulous, gives you the excuse to explore a whole new world of shopping :D

Work today, think I will take some soup, it feels too cold for salad or sandwiches.

Amie totally agree with you about Lynne, she is driving me mad, but Janice is really growing on me - at least she tells you things to your face

Got to go and take the dog out, better find my torch :o

Have a good day everyone x

Happy Birthday Hester and (((hugs))) on the loss of Ogden and Thumper. I noticed that you hadn't mentioned them for a few days. Hope you have a lovely day. I echo what others have said about lodger handing out your home number - put a stop to it!
Hilstep congratulations on your great news. :j

The headache bug that I had for a week has re-surfaced and I feel carp today. I don't think I will be particularly busy at the office today but I know that what I will have will take longer than normal.

    Have a wonderful Wednesday. xx

Morning all and a happy day to all brithday girls and boys and grannys-in-waiting

Well it's gone Early O'clock and still no sign of Mr Sharing-Caring apart from a text to say that traffic's bad - what! coming into london! in the rush hour! - who would have thought it. I have told dd that she is probably going to work with dad and she was underwhelmed to say the least - poor kid - i am tempted to tell him to s*d off and take another day off but she idolises him as i protect her from most of his shortcomings so it's time for a bit of a reality check methinks. aah my boss just phoned cos I'm normally in by now - I had told him that I might be a bit late so he's just called to say not to stress and to come in when I can - bless!

Plans today are to dismember exoh and have the bits for tea - GRRRR!
    have a good day all
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
