  • Thanks DundeeDoll, I don't know when I will start my diet as I still have a lot of stuff in the cupboards to finish off, most likely next Monday.

Terrified to face the scales, I must say.

At least you stopped at 5 liquorice toffees :)

  • Welcome aboard FrugalLina, our leader Brambling is on holiday at the moment so you will have time to think about when you start, your chosen weigh-in day and your target. This part of the challenge concludes end of September so you may want to set an achievable target for the next 3 weeks. Then we start a new one which will probably run until Christmas.

Its cold and damp here today, but I'm still going out for my walk albeit "happit up" in scarf and gloves. It's a delve into the freezer for some soup for lunch and prawn curry for tea, I fancy some oven chips :D tonight with my curry but I'll see how the rest of the day goes.

  • Thank you, Need2bthrifty, I am in the process of figuring everything out and getting all my ducks in a row.

I've been down this route before (and gained it all back, sigh) and know how to make this easier for myself. I just need my head to get in the right place, if you know what I mean.

I think my goal for September will be a small one as I am off to France with my sister in a couple of weeks, which will bring me to the end of the month.

So, October onwards is my plan. I need a lot of time to prepare, lol!

:rotfl: Me too, the weight seemed to pile on with a combination of the menopause, giving up smoking and early retirement.

    Hello FrugalLina, welcome
I am back to work and kids back to school so routine and resolve remains again (until half term :rotfl:)

I am reporting in with a loss of -3lb happy with that as I have been on my best behaviour this week, hoping to carry it through, I have nothing naughty planned, will take Mum out for lunch for her birthday in a couple of weeks but will try to choose wisely, but that's about it.

Today I have had french toast and fruit for breakfast/lunch and will be starting dinner in a mo which is Ramen with tofu and lots of veg.

Hope Brambling and s-Glover are having a good holiday x

Hi guys  i came back home today as I've things planned this weekend and didn't want to drive back on a Friday. I'll read back after dinner and post an updated list then

Welcome FrugalLina :) always good to see a new face let me know when you want me to add you to the list until then please post. I think a lot of us have been where you are having lost weight and gained it back plus more :(. I agree your head needs to be in the right place to start which is why I never start on the 1st January :)

I looked at the scales when I got home but that's as far as I've got, I will probably stick to my Wednesday weigh in and do some damage control which is required thanks to my sisters' help  I wrote a basic menu plan last night with a shopping list and stocked up on mainly fresh food when I got home so my fridge is looking very heathy :)

    L- fruit, cheese and crackers
D will be sea bass fillets, new potatoes, green beans and broccoli

Sirens can you please advise your loss you missed the number :D
