    Staggered to announce a 1.5 lb LOSS this week.. Had a rotten week and was on the verge of cancelling today but Someone on here urged me to go and I am so glad I did. no idea how it happened but it did!

    I have now lost 1 st 10.5 lbs and getting very close to my 2 stone award.

    When i started in January i hoped to lose 2 stone by my holiday in June but lost about 1.5 stones however I have another holiday end of Sept so maybe the 2 stone will be off by then!
    I just wish someone would say “haven’t you lost weight.” Nobody seems to notice.
    Thank you all for your continued encouragement.

    Well done penny. :T

    As long as you and your scales know you've lost weight that's all that matters! :T
    Ignore everyone else......

    Afternoon all.

    Unfortunately didn't find anything really SW friendly but I chose as wisely as I could. I opted for a goat curry with rice and peas (which as you probably know are actually kidney beans) and very nice it was too. I've just taken it as a few syns for oil.

    Well done penny . I'm officially noticing that you've lost close to 2 stone! :T:D

    Could it be that you're still dressing as if you're still heavier? I know I used to cover up in lots of black and baggy tops. Ironically it was one of my nephews who noticed first when I was wearing a fitted top that showed up my newly discovered waist! He's a hairdresser so probably used to complimenting women but it still felt good! :D

    At least you tried Denise . The ingredients were probably SW friendly so not too bad a choice. :)

    4 portions of celeriac mash sorted and I'm working through the leeks a plate at a time as I've not got much room for open freezing. :)

    Well done penny, nice loss :j. And I bet maman has hit the nail on the head, I certainly used to dress to cover up and blend into the background :rotfl: Got some compliments at group the other day when I wore something fitted, I would always go for the floaty/loose fitting stuff before :cool:.

    I made some pink sugarfree jelly earlier, used half water, half greek yogurt, and whisked it lots to get rid of any lumps. Ate it when set with some fresh strawberries, very refreshing! :D.

    Since the fateful WI on Wednesday morning, I estimate I've only used about 16 syns (HP sauce and those ghastly, greasy potato skins:(). I was angelic yesterday and didn't have any wine syns. :eek: Normal service will be resumed today though. ;) Sadly, I don't feel any thinner though. Perhaps I'm being impatient. :)
    Perhaps you are:rotfl::rotfl:
