Well done on your losses beanie, GTQ and LordP.:T:T:T
I think you're wise to be a bit sceptical of the large loss in the first week LordP. It's fantastic motivation but it's the plodding on further down the line that's the hard bit.:) It took me weeks and weeks to lose the final few pounds to target.
I'm feeling surprisingly philosophical about my massive weight gain. It was so much of a shock that it seems almost unreal so it's not playing on my mind. Today I'll be doing my meal plan and weekly shop so the remedy is in my own hands.
Have a good weekend denise. I hope it's more successful than last week.
Speed is a bit thin on the ground today but I have things to use up. There's so little meat in tonight's chilli that I could count it as a Green day I suppose.
Today's Plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with baked beans, raspberries with yogurtchilli with marrow, broccoli, tomatoes and mushrooms
Syns: HP sauce 1 and anything else I can't resist.0 -
Is bit easier for
Me though
As I always am
On plan
I can’t move in bed most times
Let alone out of bed
So it’s nothing I do
That causes me to gain
I can only just stay
On plan and fingers crossed lol
Easier for me to stay on plan
As I can’t get to the fridge. Or go out and buy naughties

Some great losses coming in this week. Well done to the losers, and commiserations to those without a loss. It won't be for long
Happy to report a -1lb loss this week. I'm back at a bit of a plateau again I think. I always do this after every 7 pounds or so lost. It takes a few weeks, and then it shifts little by little again. I just have to persevere and know it comes good eventually. I can definitely relate to those that only manage a 0.5lb to 1lb loss on good weeks most of the time.
I've only just caught up with the thread fully this morning (off work for 4 days now). Sorry hear about your car prang bubbs but glad you were able to get the £ off the cullprit.
Meal plan yesterday:
B - banana & apple kvarg (1.5)
L - mixed leaves, tomato, cucumber, chicken & sw quiche. dressing (1.5); 0% yogurt with nectarine, melon & strawberries
D - LO sw cottage pie. ketchup (1)
HEA - milk in tea/coffe
Today:
B - apple kvarg (1) & banana
L - bacon sandwich HEB + 5
D - not sure where and what we are having yet as will probably be on the road to the hotel for tonight
Away this w/end until Sunday, so will probably not have a chance to check in much,One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Still quite a bit poorly today but so happy
:j :j :j :j
It took the DWP ages to get my PIP claim right /rolling of eyes 👀
Last time I was awarded enhanced both with a review in 5 years
That was til Nov 2020 so I would expect a review sometime from this Nov I was getting a little stress3d
Yesterday out of the blue a letter came that said they had reviewed m6 claim (???) and they were awarding me enhanced both on an ongoing basis!!! This means for ten years with a ‘light touch’ review at that point...which is unlikely to mean a face to face ...due to my ‘severe and unlikely to improve ‘ health...
Oh...my....god
After all the hassles I have had ... to be reviewed without even knowing it, before I’d really got anxious ...wow!
So yes...feeling very poorly today but my news from yesterday will keep me on 5he happy pile for a whileSlimming World Wk1:10lb Wk2:1.5lb0 -

No bells and whistles as it’s first week and probably water weight, of which I think I have plenty. At least some came off lol
