  • Wow Beanie, fab loss. Happy bunny here - 1 1/2lb for the week. As I have been more consistent with a reasonable loss each time since I had gout, can only assume that it was affecting my loss over the last few month as gout would not occur over night. Whatever is past is past now, so aiming to lose 1/2st before I go on holiday in 5 weeks, I hope that it will be feasible.

Had a terrible couple of days due to stress with my very elderly Mum and her Alzheimers. Its just been awful. Did OK for breakfast .... oatbran and a banana and few grapes. Lunch was a pkt of lite crisps then a roll with cheese and tomato. Tea was homemade 5% mince made into burgers with new potatoes and spinach. That was ok.

then I had strawberries and icecream and i never eat icecream! Bit later i had a bowl of cereal and skimmed milk and then I had 6 cubes of chocolate from a bar my son brought in.

Yesterday I had small fish and chips out then a Star chocolate bar.

I just feel rotten. Thinking of ways to avoid WI on Sat.

Sorry to read about your mum.
    I also comfort eat......

Take care of yourself and enjoy time with your mum.

Esmy Alpen Light bars are only 3 Syns not 5.5 so a few less than you thought.

GTQ Half a stone in 5 weeks is doable for most people - I can't do it as I usually only loose 0.5lb a week with the occasional lb!

Some good losses coming in this week.

Away for the weekend but taking food with us so all meals will be SW friendly! All syns will be for alcohol I suspect and then have to rein in during the week!!!

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats, strawberries & grapes
L - mixed veg soup made from frozen veg
D - SC keema aloo mater curry & rice (that's mince with potatoes & peas!) - never made this in the SC before so hope it's worked OK

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - wine :D

Not sure if I'll be able to post over the weekend but will if I can get a mobile signal!

For the last few months, I would have been in the same position, just hoping that now any underlying health issues have been resolved, I am back on a roll for a greater weekly loss on a more regular basis.

    Enjoy your weekend everyone

    10lb off this week

No bells and whistles as it’s first week and probably water weight, of which I think I have plenty. At least some came off lol

I thought that at first but I think it’s daily syns of 5.5 including the Mayo and sausages?

I’m probably wrong and in cloud cuckoo land or something lol
