All you can do is your best although some salad would be better for you than coleslaw. Personally I eat loads of pickles especially beetroot. It's an easy way to get Speed without wasting anything perishable.

Nowt wrong with my coleslaw, it’s Home made and apart from the mayo is all speed food :p

Most veg I eat and was in mince is also speed. I’m eating over half speed per day on purpose

I just forget to keep writing home made SW in front of everything :)

I finally got home just after 6.30pm having left here at 7am! It was definitely a long day. I had my blood test at 8.45 but the result didn't get back to clinic until nearly 12. By the time I'd got a canal in it was nearly 12.45pm the 4 hours for the drip. DH stopped the drip by closing off the valve as there was loads of air bubbles in the tube when the bag was nearly empty. The nurse finally came and disconnected the drip but didn't remove the canula. Left sitting there for another 45 minutes when the Dr popped her head in to see how I was doing and asked why I was still there when the drip had finished!!!! Explained the nurse was so busy I was waiting to have the canula remove - she went and found the stuff to remove it so I could eventually come home.

Anyway, all is well until next week when I'm back again for more of the same!

Maman I think I'd have been shocked with a gain like that. Think you'll have to go on the G&T diet for a while!!! Is your social life busy again this week or have you got a relatively quiet one other than eating out for lunch tomorrow?

Lord Percy - well done on having about 50% Speed foods, should help you lose well. Do you use normal mayo or the Lighter than Light one? I use the LTL as it's only 0.5 syns a Tbs so can save quite a few syns. You say you don't use all your Syns but it actually a good idea to have your full quota to start with so that if you hit a plateau you have somewhere to cut back to kick start the losing again.

Today's plan has ended up as a Green Day:

B - overnight oats with mixed frozen fruit, yoghurt & skinny syrup
L - HM scotch egg salad using Linda Mccartney Red Onion & Rosemary sausages; cheese sandwich with picalilli
D - Jacket potato with cottage cheese - didn't have anything with it as used up all the salad and didn't fancy just pickles with it

HEA1 - milk in tea this morning so probably about 100ml max
    HEA2 - 30g cheese
    HEB - oats
Syns - 1Tbs picalilli 0.5; chocolate buttons 8:eek: - I'd asked DH to get me some Magic Stars 'cos they're only 3.5 Syns a bag

Need to check whether I've got any syns left for the week in case I want something later.

Wow, sorry about that - it became a bit of a long one tonight!

Wow Denise . What a day for you. You've done well to stay on plan. Do you have to go again next week?:)

I was massively shocked by the gain. I didn't expect to be in target but not such a massive gain. Yes, it's just tomorrow I'm out then a clear run for at least a week. I've just checked the menu for tomorrow and I should be able to make wise choices. Now I just need to find some willpower to help me. :)

Yes Maman every week for at least the next few weeks. I've got my nuclear scan in 2 weeks and hopefully after that they'll be able to see what is causing the calcium in my blood. They suspect it's the para-thyroid glands but can't treat it properly until they know for sure.

The Dr I'm seeing is trying to speed up an appointment with the Endrochrologist but not having much success! Hopefully I can get an appointment to see him/her asap after the scan.

I'm getting concerned that I'm going to have to change my holiday dates as I'm due to go just after the bank holiday!

Enjoy your meal tomorrow and remember you're on the G&T for the foreseeable future, LOL!
