What another long day you had Denise...

Bubbs hope you are ok...does shake you up, glad she admitted it so many just drive away. Still sure that big fry up helped......heard on the weather high winds expected today!!

Lord P sorry to hear not so good today....the night is always worst when not well.

Well WI yesterday and would you believe another 1 1/2 lb loss - while not complaining it's third week that this has happened:rotfl:

    Need your advice

I am struggling a bit...not with SW plan but the consultant, she can come over like a school mam and constantly organizing things, I am not a good mixer, always been the same and all this is making me not want to stay in group. Despite me mentioning how I suffer from anxiety and get worked up talking about weight loss and what I did right or wrong in group - she unlike the last consultant has not taken it onboard and will throw so many questions etc and it makes no so uncomfortable. Just not feeling the need to stay. I love the folks in the group enjoying chatting with them....but after yesterday I felt I wanted to go elsewhere.
Come on you would be agony Aunts ....struggling

Vegastare I would mention it to the Consultant again, I would imagine she has probably forgotten as she sees so many faces, specially if she has more than one group. She should be able to put a note against your name on her tablet I would think, to remind her when your name pops up when she goes round everyone to talk about their progress.

My consultant is super sensitive which can be a bit cringeworthy and can come across slightly patronising sometimes, but we all know she means well. Would be a shame if you stopped staying to group. The banter in ours is always light hearted (we have a few mad ones ;-)), and I do pick up tips still even after 6 months.

Vegastare I think PIB is right. Talk to your consultant again and actually ask her to make a note against your name to the effect that you don't want to talk about what was right and wrong. If you have any queries you can always chat to her independently after the group when everyone else is leaving. You can still gain a lot of information just from listening. If the worse comes to the worse is there another group you could attend easily? That would be another option but it's not an option I would like to have to do.

Lord Percy sorry to hear you've had a bad night. Not a problem just lurking and liking until you feel able to join in a bit more.

PIB - I still pick up new tips even after 10 years, particularly new ideas for recipes to try.

Today's WI went well, better than I thought, with another lb off so just 1.5lb to get to bottom end of target range:D! Haven't been there for a very long time.

    Today's plan:

B - grapes - I know they are only Free and not Speed but had run out of strawberries!
L - cheese on toast; salad - mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, pepper
D - sliced rib of beef sliced in gravy (LO from the weekend and frozen); roast potatoes, roasted peppers & onions, green veg

    HEA1 - cheese
    HEA2 - milk - not a full HEA, probably about 100ml
    HEB - bread
Syns - May have a couple of G&Ts

    The weather report made me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you get sorted with consultant , but you know what made me think, i have been going to the same group 2 1/2 yrs, didn't go while i had op , i also do pay as well, she never even asked me how i was:o
I would have a word with her and remind her, or see if there is another group, or even if you don't feel like you can tell her, would one of the friends you have made speak to her?
What ever way i hope you get sorted x

Bubbs~~ I think that is shocking actually that your consultant did not even ask how you were. How rude apart from anything else.
