I'm sporting a navy t shirt with olive oil all over it (dropped the bottle) and a touch of black paint...

    .

I dropped my black eyeliner on the lap of my dress this morning  Decided it was less effort to sponge it 'clean', take it off and lie it on the sofa in the morning sun to dry in the 10 mins I had before leaving the house, than nip upstairs and put on a different frock. Go figure!

Sary, flipping heck how did you manage to motivate her so quickly

    :D:D:D:D

1st day at work......the new team appeared a little reserved........they met me....... end of them being reserved!

    :D:D:D:D

I kept showing her my lunches:D and telling her about what I was eating for dinner that night. She went shopping in Aldi last night to get her provisions in readiness... however she missed joining the group because she was tired :o I've told her she needs the books, and being accountable to the group, at least initially, and that she will get so many ideas, and support from the consultant and other members. Hopefully that will have done the trick.

Can't be doing with being reserved, where's the fun in that? :rotfl:

My new colleague said she thought my boss and I are like a comedy duo, and that watching us interact is like a sketch on a show. We are now considering the Edinburgh Fringe ....

    That's terrible news beanie.
So sad for everyone involved. :(

Beanie, I can only reiterate curl girl's thoughts. It's such a tragic loss for all involved. It leaves a numbness. I had a friend many years ago who killed herself and her 2 children... I think of them every October:(:A:A:A

Beanie indeed it is. It was no answer, but at the time, for her, it apparently was. Desperation and mental illness, fear, all has it's part to play I'm sure.

Just logging my mealplan for the day:
    B - banana & melon, baked apple skyr (1)
    L - lettuce,shredded white cabbage & carrot tomato & cucumber, chicken & SW quiche. Dressing (1.5)
0% greek nat. yog., strawberries, nectarine & mango (couldnt eat it all & saved rest for later)
D - SW quiche, chicken thighs x 2, lettuce, cabbage & carrot, tomato, cucumber, dressing (1.5), Ryvita HEB
snack - rest of LO nat yog. strawberries, mango & nectarine, with extra strawberries, and topped with a bit of Elmlea light (2)
    HEA - milk in tea/coffee

    Thanks in advance

A long time ago ,I remember a soup that really 'got things moving' shall we say .
Can anyone remember it and the recipe (think it included baked beans !)
DH getting problems and I'd like to try natural things as well as yet more drugs

Sue. There seems to be different variations of the soup.
    A tin of baked beans.
A tin of tomatoes or two
A tin of carrots or two
    Some stock
    A pickled onion!
    Heat through & blend.
    Enjoy!
Think I may have forgotten something but not sure.
Sure someone else will be alone soon.

Kiwis can also help in that department.

Sue I think the one you might be thinking of used to be called "Trumpy soup". I'll see if I can find the recipe.

The recipe Beanie has posted is the one which makes a tomato soup which tastes very similar to Heinz tomato soup, in fact some people say it's exactly the same but as I don't like tomato soup I can't say personally. The pickled onions are the important 'secret' ingredient:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Knew I'd seen the recipe somewhere on here and found it!

12 speed/trumpy soup -and if you go on the SW thread its also called "dyno rod soup"

    1 tin tomatoes
    1 box passata
1 large tin green lentils -or a couple of hands of dried
1 large tin of cannelini beans
    1 tin red kidney beans
    1 jar/tin carrots
    500g frozen peppers
    2 onions -chopped
    1 tin baked beans
    4 parsnips -peeled n chopped
1 tin peas -garden are my fave
    2 veg oxo
    seasoning

I simply throw everything into a VERY big pan and cover with a lid and cook until tender -it sounds a bit *eeew* but Im addicted and now have hubby the same . ooh if you use fresh peppers instead of frozen you may need to add a tiny drop of water...
You may want to half the quantities for your first batch as mine made about 4lt last time -but I know we can get through that as I would happily eat it for every lunch

Have to say I've never tried it but it used to be quite popular with some people!!!

Think it'll definitely get things moving (and give you loads of wind:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Let us know if you try it and how it goes.

    Denise
