Good news on your colleague:)I agree but she's going to find healthy eating comes as a big shock!
Any chance you can get together with her and have some SW friendly snacks in the office sary ? She's got to step away from those Pringles.Just checked and a tube is 50 syns.
Agree with both Beanie and Maman great news that your colleague has listened to you, even though she still had her usual microwave burger & Pringles yesterday!
An office fruit bowl is a good idea. Perhaps you could introduce her to some low syn snack ideas?
Can't believe Pringles are 50 Syns a tube:eek:. That's horrendous! Suppose I'm quite lucky in that I'm keen on them or crisps so not something I've ever had to 'deprive' myself of!
Can you believe I was virtually teetotal when I started SW and I actually started drinking more to use up my syns as I was struggling to use my syns:rotfl:. Not a problem any more as I now also like chocolate which I never really ate so alcohol and chocolate are what most of my syns go on!
Anyway, today's plan:
B - beans on toast
L - Cauliflower & blue cheese - HEA2 for Laughing Cow blue cheese triangles; soup - bread - 3 syns
D - lasagne with aubergine slices as well as pasta sheets - 4 syns for cheese sauce. Will be adding extra veg to the meat sauce.
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - 5 Laughing Cow blue cheese triangles
HEB - bread
Syns - bread 3; cheese sauce 4

Bubbs, yesterday must have been a day for it, although yours was an accident and my incident was disgusting. I was leaving the office and don't know who got the biggest surprise, him or me. Luckily, my car was strategically parked on the drive between his friend & I, but why he felt the need to do it against the neighbours wall, and opposite houses is beyond me :eek:A smile costs little but creates much0

That's quite common place n France gtq. I've often seen a 'defense de Uriner' sign in supermarket car parks!_pale_
Do you just melt the Laughing Cows over the cauliflower denise.? Cauliflower cheese is one thing I miss on SW. I know I could have it but thinking of my usual recipe with milk, cheese and cornflour put me off. It's perhaps not sooo bad now there's an extra HEA.:)
Crisps was another things I banned. It's strange but I can have any amount of chocolate, cakes or biscuits in the house (for DH) and I just ignore it. But if I know there's a multi pack of ready salted in the cupboard,it calls to me. Now I just buy a bag as a treat usually as part of a meal deal when I'm travelling or at Christmas.
I'm planning to make a batch of braised, red cabbage later as I've run out. I adapt Delia's recipe and count it as free. I want to buy in some more frozen veg too. I've noticed that frozen mushrooms are cheaper per kg than even the wonky, fresh ones. ideal for casseroles.
Meal plan later.:)0 -
Maman - I cook the onions, garlic to soften then add the cauliflower and some stock. Cook until the cauliflower stalks are very soft and then blitz in the blender. Pour it back into the saucepan and throw in the cheese triangles to melt. If necessary blitz again but probably need to reheat again after as it will cool it down although I use the microwave to reheat it in the bowl as it's quicker and warms the bowl at the same time!
Amazingly DH actually said how nice it was and he's not really that keen on cauliflower soup so that was nice to hear.
A friend at group uses one of her HEAs for Primula Light (think it's 75g) and uses that as a sauce to top cauliflower cheese etc. Haven't tried it myself but will get round to it at some time!

No, bubbs I am sadly not used to the warmth.
Loving it thoughsarymclary wrote: »Evening all,
I think there was something on the news about a woman who was harassing some guy in the men’s loos at a supermarket today...;)
Super busy day at work, which just flew by.
Meal plan:
B - melon & 0% strawberry kvarg (1.5)
L - tuna & cucumber sandwich (6) & HEB
Snack - 0% Greek yog, strawberries & mango
D - LO cottage pie with carrots, broccoli, sweet corn & peas. Gravy (0.5)
Snack - chicken thigh & nectarine
Got half day at work tomorrow which is a bonus so lazy AM.
Ooh and the colleague I mentioned who I wished would join SW has looked up a group local to her and joins this week! Yay! She also ate another microwave burger and tube of Pringles today  I did ask if she likes to cook, and mentioned batch cooking was a great idea. Fingers crossed for her.
