  • Well done ladies on all your losses this week. I was camping over the weekend so just getting around to this. 6lb for me this week please. I think that was solely down to the amount of walking we did. I think I hit 25000 steps on Saturday. Good luck for this week all. :j

Hi Jessica. Welcome to our SW thread. We are a friendly bunch on here. Do you go to group or are you doing it at home on your own with the help of the web?

I finally managed a bit of a lay in this morning until 7.15! Didn't sleep well at all Saturday night and was awake from 2.30am with pains in my back & legs. Think it may be down to changing from ordinary tea to decaf on the advice of the hospital doctor as may help with reducing the calcium levels in my blood. We shall see when I go back for another blood test on Wednesday.

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB
    L - ham salad
D - SW stifado (from freezer) with mash & green veg, probably green beans and peas

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but may have something this evening.

Have still got cherries, plums & melon to snack on.

    Denise.
Just wondering how your cold sore is doing?
Mine is still huge and has been bleeding in the night.
Never had them to last so long or to be painful before.

Hope I haven't put anyone off their breakfast....

  • I think I redeemed myself yesterday!

Had pancakes with strawberries for breakfast, or brunch as it was nearly 1 by the time I got to eat having caught up with house work etc, made a crustless quiche which had alot of stuff that needed to be used up, so has chicken, tomatoes, peppers, onions, cheese and an extra special ingredient possibly, hand slipped when I was grating the cheese, have a lovely grated thumb, there may be a bit of skin in the quiche, but managed not to get blood in it:D Then I cooked chicken in philadelphia light, low fat creme fraiche, garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes and had some with broccoli for dinner. Trying to avoid carbs if I can, so I have lunch & dinner sorted for a couple of days.

Was looking at the pile of ironing and thought, sod it, it can wait until Tuesday!

    Have a good week everyone

Curl girl - have still got the cold sore but nearly gone now thankfully - probably another day or two and it should be OK.

There's been a change of plan for lunch! DH thinks it's too cold for salad so I'm going to make a vegetable soup instead using mixed veg from the freezer which is a good use of it as don't generally use it with meals as neither DH nor myself are actually that keen on it.

GTQ can't say I blame you saying sod it to the ironing! I have an even better plan - don't iron it all. If you fold it neatly and stack it the weight of the washing at the top virtually irons the stuff at the bottom so you can just put it away! Very :money: no electric used :rotfl:.
