Hope today goes well for you both denise and bubbs.:)Hope you get on okay today Denise.
Cold sores are terrible, I do think stress flares mine as well. I still look as though I've been punched but landed in a bowl of whipped cream!
Until I read this, I was thinking how SW friendly all the remedies had been: peas, chilli....:rotfl:
You mist have had an awful lot of gravy for 10 syns Frankie.Good that you didn't succumb to the wrong things though.:D
Well done on your losses poundsinbucks and TTD.:T
I didn't manage to post yesterday as RL took over. I've had to juggle a bit with meal plan over past few days as we had unexpected visitors and got munchies in the evening as I wean myself off the daily wine syns of the past few weeks.Pleased to report that I have stayed on plan though.:) I'm out this evening with a shared buffet but I'm going to take melon and hope there's something else SW friendly too. I'm having dinner before I go too so that I won't be genuinely hungry.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, 2 boiled eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: probably JP with cottage cheese and pickled cabbagesavoury mince, new potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, melon
Syns: hopefully none, depends on my willpower at the party!;)0 -
Thanks Maman, well the chilli is on now as the blocks are back in the freezer for the car journey:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have asked my sister to get me fruit and mushrooms as i had planned on getting these yesterday, but all good plans and that!!Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Best of luck today bubbs xxx. I also didn’t know about the Marmite keeping bugs away, interesting! And funny, reading about Avon Skin So Soft. I was recommended this a very long time ago...... to get treesap off my car. And it worked! Must have some magic ingredients :rotfl:.
I am still on a bit of a cloud. Yesterday’s group was quite different with Diamond Target members sharing their stories and pix, before we voted for our Diamond Member of the Year. I think it hit me that those ladies were big (like me) years ago, lost the weight, are a normal size now and have been for years, and this is possible for me too. It is happening! I needed 2.5lbs to get the 4st award and thought that would be a bit of a stretch, but somehow I lost 3, feeling very proud:o:o. Was actually happy to get my pic taken (!) with my family later that day, as it is not often we are all together, dressed nicely for a meal out, during daylight hours on a sunny day!
So for anyone struggling out there, stick to the plan, it really works. Never mind what you ate yesterday, today is a new day, follow the SW rules and you will see results, and you can feel amazing too :T:T:T.

Well done poundsinbucks, you're doing really well.
My problem is my sister who is now a size 24-26, every time I see her she looks bigger.
I try talking to her about her weight but we always end up falling out.
Any advice on how I try to help her to understand would be welcome.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -

I think the difficuly for all of us who have friends/family in a similar situation is that it does not matter what we say or do, it has to come from the person themselves. For whatever reason they dont want to take on board what we are saying. It is like the elephant in the room.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Only she can decide and then get in the right frame of mind

Hope the op goes ahead Bubbs. Nothing worse than sitting around in hospital twiddling your thumbs!
Today went well for me. Had a blood test before going to the clinic (got given the form for it last week!) so only had to sit and wait for the results to come through. Unfortunately they took a bit longer than usual but still only there until 11.45 so home in time for lunch:D, although having said that I'd already eaten my sandwich, LOL!
Now have to drink more water, buy some decaf teabags but that will have to wait until I do my shopping tomorrow. Not keen on decaf tea but if it's going to help it's got to be worth a try!
I've got to carry on having weekly blood tests at the hospital so it'll be a waste of a couple of hours every week for a while as I have to hang around until they get the results to find out whether I'll need for treatment. Today's result was OK as I am at the top end of normal range but they want to keep an eye on it for a while.
I've also got to collect my pee for 24 hours the day before I go in a 5l container:rotfl:! Just got to hope it all fits in as the last time I done one of those I needed 2 containers:rotfl:.
Now got to wait for an appointment for a nuclear scan and then an appointment to see a Consultant Endocrinolist.
Sorry that's turned into a bit of an essay! Will post menu plan in a separate post.
