    Evening all,

Bubbs sorry to hear about your bad reaction to the bite. Cellulitis isn't any fun, so hope that improves. Good luck for your op tomorrow.

Denise, good luck for tomorrow for you too.

    PIB fab loss, well done!
I agree going off plan slightly and then back on it seems to trigger losses. I found exactly the same after being on a plateau for some time. It's easy to become disheartened and then go totally off plan forever, but a day or so having different foods seems to work for me.

Beanie, just stick around with us, and do what you can when you can. Don't beat yourself up if days aren't on plan all day. It'll come good eventually, but it takes time, or it needs to be the right time.

I got bitten Friday night watering the garden too, and mine has gone all purple and blotch, and looks really nasty, but at least my leg hasn't swollen like your's Bubbs. Although I was also at the Drs because my cat scratched my eye while I was cutting our hedge! She had clambered up inside the hedge, I'm there with the shears and OH says watch out, the cat is in the hedge. I look to see where she is, she spots me, I spot her, and bam! the little beggar thinks we are playing and scratches me. She missed my eyeball by millimetres, it's literally along the underside of my bottom lashes, and a nasty cut. I managed to tape it together (bleugh!) and have had to have a tetanus jab and a course of antibiotics. Gardening is dangerous folks!

Nonetheless I've been pretty much on plan (slight glitch yesterday with a pre-packed pasta dish from M&S for dinner because I'd forgotten to get anything out of the freezer for dinner).

    Today's plan:
    B - banana & 0% fat free passion fruit kvarg (1.5)
L - tuna pasta salad (3 for mayo)
snack - isey skyr fat free baked apple flavour .... anyone an idea of syns? Had about 100g Tastes too yummy to not be synned
snack - h/m SW quiche portion
D - chicken breast, mixed leaf salad, carrot, tomato, cucumber, savoury rice & dressing (1)
snack - chinese seasoned chicken thigh

The HM quiche is so delicious - can't believe I've left it 6 months until I managed to get round to making one. I kept seeing Bubbs ones and was determined to have one. That and the fact that I got 2 dozen eggs free with 6 SW meals from Iceland, in addition to the dozen I already had at home!

Curl Girl & Denise, sorry you've got horrid cold sores. My OH suffers with them, and it's often a sign he's run down, or going down with a virus/cold when he gets them.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Thanks for best wishes for today. Will let you know how I get on later. Hoping today will be the last time. I think the cold sores are due to the stress of going to the hospital every week!

No idea what I/'ll be eating today apart from a pork sandwich and some fruit at lunchtime. and chicken curry and rice.

I'm coming in late to the 'bites' conversation, but I use Avon's Skin So Soft. It's a moisturising spray but has the added bonus of keeping the bugs away..and it smells nice :)

    Used by the SAS apparently.

I was on a hungry/self sabotage last night. I wish I knew why my head did this to me.

Anyway, managed not to eat snacks or a takeaway but did eat today's lunch as well as last night's tea :/

    Food yesterday:
    B: overnight oats (HEB)
    L: tuna pasta
T: meat balls, onions, mush, courgette, mash, gravy

HEA's milk for drinks, gravy was probably about 10 syns and I had a Tesco choc and caramel icecream, probably another 10 syns, so still in syn range so far this week :)

Hope you get on okay today Denise.
Cold sores are terrible, I do think stress flares mine as well. I still look as though I've been punched but landed in a bowl of whipped cream!
