That's a great loss tie an very well done for getting back to target. That's quite an achievement. :T
We're off to football in a moment. Game time has been changed to accommodate the great god Sky.
The plan is to have something to eat in town after the game. It's just me and DH so I will be able to choose wisely. Will post menu when I get back and know what I've had.0 -
Well done TIE, great loss and back in target too!
Enjoy the football Maman. Crunchie at half time? or some fruit?
Been out today and bought some new t-shirts for my holiday in December, thought needed to get them now before the shops are completely full with winter clothes! Spent far more than I intended but should have enough now with the decent ones I've already got. Would have liked to find some nice shorts but couldn't find any I liked and at a price I liked. Will have a look next week when I go into town - we've got a New Look and Peacocks, hopefully one or other of those will have some.
Change of plan last night for Syns, went to see my friend and we shared a bottle of wine so 15 instead of 5 or 7.5 but overall I'm still within syns for 2 days as had less than 15 on Thursday night.
Today's Plan:
B - 2 sausages (2), egg (P), beans (P), tomatoes (S), tomato (S)
L - 2 pea soup - dried peas (P), frozen peas (F), potato (F), onion (S), stock (F)
D - beef in gravy (0.5); roast potatoes (F); roasted peppers (S); roasted onions (S); green beans (S); cauliflower (S)
HEA - milk - about 100mls
HEB - none planned
Syns - sausages 2; beef in gravy 0.5; alcohol but not sure what yet depends whether DH is drinking wine or beer tonight! If he's drinking beer I'll probably have rum & ginger beer!

Disappointed that I only lost half a pound after a very good week and 27,000 steps yesterday alone! particularly as the woman behind me at group lost 9.5 lbs in a week!
I just don’t understand how people can lose these BIG amounts. I no longer eat bread, I have only ever drunk skimmed milk for decades, I don’t take sugar, I barely drink alcohol, I never eat biscuits and very seldom cake. Two afternoon teas in the last 12 months. i eat light crisps and syn them. I love all fruit and veg, salad, fish, lean meats etc. I shouldn’t think I eat 4 oz cheese in a week. Every half pound I lose I have to really work hard for.
I am staying on track this week though and hoping to lose something next week. Just 3 lbs to my 2 stone award.0 -

Denise my local M&S had loads of shorts in the 70% off sale earlier this week - I got some for £3.50.
Well done to all the losers and welcome newbies. I did a big post a while back about doing SW from home, if that's helpful. It's in post #4 on this thread. I'll try to add the categories to my menus as Denise and Maman have done.
Well, you know the saying about pride coming before a fall?? Having STS after my holiday, this week I've gained 1lb - not a surprise as I have been extremely naughty - McDonalds with DGD, chocolate and all manner of unhealthy extras. This must stop!! Despite that a little NSV, in the form of a new size 12 dress
Todays menu:
HEA1- milk in tea and coffee, HEA2 - reduced fat cheddar HEB - oats
B Oat pancakes,, 2 Aldi skinny sausages (2 syns) tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
L Peach (S) banana (F)
D Lentil flan - (red lentils (F), peppers (S), onions (S), cheese, eggs (P)), SW chips made with frylight, (F) salad, (S) strawbs (S) with 0% greek yoghurt (F) and a drizzle of Sweet Freedom syrup (1/2 syn per tsp)
Have a good Saturday all.0 -

That's very true bubbs and they are often the people who don't eat healthily but treat SW as a diet. Sometimes though, we can be really good with no results. Often it shows up the next week or sometimes 'bad' weeks are slow to catch up. I'm sure plodding along is the best way.
We played really well at the football and got a point which we're pleased with. No Crunchies yet this season Denise. DH says he's happy to have something else so today he had a Benefit bar and I had a banana. I could have had a Benefit too but didn't fancy the sweetness. Then we went to Debenhams caff for a late lunch.
Speed's a bit thin on the ground for me today but I'll add extra to the casserole and may have more berries later.
ETA : added BNS, leeks and peppers so happier about Speed count.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (free squash), raspberries and strawberries (S) with 0% Greek yogurt (Free), HEA milk for drinks
L: JP (free) with tuna (P) and salad garnish (S), coffee and banana (free)sausage and bacon (P?) casserole with onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, courgettes (S) served with baked beans and tagliatelle (free)
Syns: mayo 2? cornflour 1, sausages 1 weekend wine:D:j0 -

Thanks but unfortunately I don't have a local M&S! Nearest is about 15-20 miles away and suspect they will be sold out by now!
By the way Red Lentils are Protein. How do you make your lentil flan? Sounds interesting. Could do with some new veggie recipes and I use lots of lentils and beans.

Well done Maman on no Crunchie and having a banana. Glad you team got a point too.
Sausages are never protein, either Free (SW, yuk!) or syns, depending on which ones you use.

Today I've used the Aldi skinny sausages. They'll be a keeper as they're just as good as the BGTY ones and save half a syn!
The sausage casserole recipe is a child friendly 'cowboy' one that my girls made i in cookery lessons at school. I've adapted it to SW with extra Speed. Since posting I found BNS in the freezer (YS sheets that I cut into strips) and leeks and baby sweetcorn and courgettes and peppers to add to the onions and mushrooms already in the recipe. Sometimes I do a more 'grown up' sausage casserole adapting the Tana Ramsey recipe which has cabbage and butter beans. We like them both.0 -
