Rainbow just making better choices will help with the weight loss even if you don't go to group until nearly the end of September. Are there any other groups you could go to the weeks you need to be working? Or, if this is going to be a regular thing you can tell the consultant that you are a shift worker and then you don't need to weigh every week and won't be charged for missing weeks when you're working.

Amazingly my scales were right and I did lose 0.5lb, I have absolutely no idea how but I'm taking it! Only 1lb more go get to bottom end of target! Might then to start using some extra Syns so I don't drop out of bottom end and have to pay! I don't like paying, LOL! Only had to do that a few times since I got to target just over 7 years ago.

:T on getting a loss denise. That's brilliant to be so close to the bottom end of target range. Well done!:)

I went for my blood test this morning so we'll see what comes of that. The GP hadn't specified whether I was to eat beforehand so I didn't just to be sure. So no breakfast for me which is unheard of. :o After that I went for a walk and then had a milky coffee.

I think it's really helpful to all of us when new people come along. It certainly makes me rethink my ways. We're having Bolognese tonight. I made a batch for the freezer a week or so ago. I used 500g of 5% mince and made 1600g of Bolognese or it might have been more. I know I made at least 4 portions for two and I do it in 400g portions. With the mince (Protein) I add tomatoes, tomato puree, onions, carrots, peppers, mushrooms, courgettes, celery and this time I had some cubes of BNS to add as well. All of these are Speed food. Along with that is the free seasoning, herbs and stock cube.

    Today's EE plan:

B: coffee, HEA1 milk for drinks (I use BOB milk because it tastes like semi skimmed and you're allowed 300 mls)
L; ham (Protein) with fried LO Speed veg (swede, carrot, cabbage, broccoli, cauli, celeriac, braised red cabbage) and 1 free potato with Speed beetroot, pickled onion and pickled cabbage.
Dinner: Free tagliatelle with SW Bolognese sauce (Speed and Protein), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns: None!:D

I'm unlikely to have the HEB today but if I want I've got Ryvita.

Sorry but I can't highlight in red at the moment except on my phone.:(

I'm back from the theme park day out and we are all a little bit tired.

I was good and made a pizza from a mini wrap that I had and I must say it was absolutely delish. Used 30g Red Leicester which I think is a HEA.

But it was tiny (mini wrap instead of a WW and I know these have syns anyways) and I simply couldn't resist the kids' pizzas.

Not sure if I should just write today off and when I say write off, I just mean not count syns and not that I go mad and eat everything in sight.

The dinner all in was 626 calories, so doesn't sound too bad, but yes a lot of syns I should imagine.

The pizzas were Tesco Stone Thin ones. I had 1/4 of a cheese one and a 1/4 of a pepperoni one, oops!

Rest of the day was okay (but not on the speed side). Next week I will be back in the routine of work and school

Pollyanna A frequently used saying on here and at my group is

"Good when you can and careful when you can't"

It's a good motto for days when things don't go quite to plan, you just do the best you can.

Your lunch was fine just 0.5 or 1 syn for the yoghurt and 0.5 HEB for the Alpen bar.
