That looks really wishy washy and bland! It's very beige!

Quiet day at home today, doing more washing! It seems never ending, LOL! But at least the weather's good and it can be dried outide.

    Today's plan:

    B - sausage & mushroom sandwich - HEB + 4
L - feta cheese salad - HEA (would have been a Greek salad but I forgot to buy the olives!)
D - stuffed lamb loin, roast potatoes, onions & peppers and green veg, splash of gravy - 3 Syns for stuffing

    HEA - cheese & a little milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 2 sausages 2; spread 2; stuffing 3

    Denise
That's my thoughts exactly! Also cant tell if its fish or chicken?

I thought it was fish Bubbs with the beaten egg whites on which is the SW way of doing battered fish, LOL! Definitely not battered.

Just all looks undercooked to me.

    Excited.

is that his posh fish and chip place? I saw a TV programme about that. My mouth's watering already. The food looked amazing and a far cry from that photo that bubbs posted. I can't imagine why anyone would prepare such a boring, tasteless salad.

I'm going to nip to Poundstretcher in a bit because last week I bought a jar of pickled cabbage to try. It was a large jar for about half the price I normally pay and I noticed it's made in exactly the same place as Heinz. It's a little sweeter than usual but I liked it so if they still have it I'll stock up.

    Back soon.:)

    Yes maman.
I have made some poor choices, wouldn't mind if I had enjoyed them!
Plus I've had a lot more bread than normal.

    B Fruit and yoghurt
    L Omelette and salad
D Quorn curry, rice and side salad instead of nan.

    May have a G&T.
I have drank a few ciders this week which didn't help.

Thanks Maman for the heads up on the red cabbage. Haven't had any for ages but do like it. I'm not in my local town until WI on Thursday so will have a look then to see if ours has got any.

Curl girl cider is definitely a poor choice - it's worse then wine for syns! I've still got an unopened bottle from when I went to France earlier this year which I didn't drink while we were away. It'll probably be going back to France next year as I've had to cancel this years holiday!

If you like rum it's 1/2 syn less than gin for 25ml! My preferred choice when I'm short on syns, LOL!

DH opened a bottle of white at lunchtime so drinking that at the moment so will be over syns again today, oh dear! Will definitely have to rein it back in next week before WI.

Sadly Poundstretcher had run out of the pickled cabbage but you might be lucky in a different branch Denise . I generally buy the large Heinz jars from Home Bargains for about £1. Interestingly, DH called into Lidl to stock up on his favourite muesli today and I asked him to get some cornichons. They had about 4 bags of muesli left and no cornichons.:( I think it might be the dreaded B word. :(

Glad you know what went wrong curl girl . There's nothing worse than having a perfect week with no result. Better luck next time. :)

Loved the sound of the roast lamb trixie and Denise . We're having roast despite the weather. We don't eat until after 7 so it might be cooler by then. :)

    Today's EE plan :
B: NAS grapefruit, HEA milk for drinks, strawberries and yogurt
    L: LO chickenless casserole
D: JO roast pork with SW roast potatoes and loads of Speed
    Syns : gravy 4, G&T??
