We tend to eat out a lunchtime on at least one day when we go away in the motorhome in the UK as we often go out first thing and then spend most of the day wandering around so need to eat something. It's not always convenient to take something with us as we travel by bus usually or walk locally to where we're staying.
We we go to France we limit eating out to 3 or 4 times for lunch usually Menu de Jour as they are much cheaper over the one month holiday so roughly once a week. It gets too expensive to eat out all the time.
Our meals in the MH tend to be SW friendly, apart from the French bread & pain raison for breakfast/lunch!

My consultant loves tasters too denise, swear we had one a month for a few months when I first joined. I also thought they were ‘set’ by HO? My group is at lunchtime, so we are always eating :rotfl:.
Well done on being nominated beanie, good luck! Sorry to hear it is not your thing vegastare. Is all new to me and would never have thought last year I would take part in anything like this, but hey, life is short, felt like the right thing to do.
What do you mean bubbs, how do they calculate greatest loser? I have no idea. Can I just say all your pix and postings helped to convince me back in Jan to join SW, so glad I did!
And THANK YOU to all posting on this thread. Lots of tips, advice, helpful comments as well as vents and struggles, it is good to share & support :T:T:T.

Denise I’m intrigued- what is a duchess potato?!
Forgot to post this morning but my day has been:
B- porridge with peach, grapes and choc spread (5)
L- LO Mac cheese and salad (4)
D- chicken fried rice with onion, carrot, sweet corn, pepper, peas. Sauce made with ketchup, honey and soy (2)
Feeling peckish so will have some boring fruit :rotfl:
WI tomorrow...felt low and tired this week with my period but I’ve managed to stick to plan. Hoping to maintain after my chocolate binge the other day. Away for a couple of days from tomorrow but will be sticking to it and hoping for a big loss next week!April 2016 Mortgage- £160,000.00
October 2017 Mortgage- £138,322.06
October 2018 Mortgage- £131,898.31 :j
October 2020 Mortgage- £103,084.00
July 2022 Mortgage- £820000 -
Well did it again weight loss 1 and 1/2 lb and drum rolls.....didn't need to pay as in range....so want to get to bottom end range and try and maintain there for a while and might push down again in future.
As a treat have bought the prawn dim sums from M & S which will have with cauliflower rice chinese style ( still on sale till shortage hits). The dim sums are 200 cal for pack when steamed so not too bad.
Hope you are feeling ok Denise after yesterday....did you say back tomorrow.!
Duchess pots used to make and freeze for christmas years ago, Sure Denise will give us the SW version.
Catch up with you soon
P.S anyone heard from Lord PP0 -
Duchess potatoes sound more posh than they are, LOL! It's just mashed potato, usually piped but I just use a spoon and dollop onto a baking sheet and then bake. They go brown & crispy. I just find it easier than trying to reheat mashed potato any other way. I don't seem to be able to reheat it evening usually. Think they could have done with a bit longer as they didn't get crispy but were still nice.
As I'd only planned 0.5 syn for today decided to pinch one of DH's "Magnum style" lollies for 11 Syns! But I'm still within syns for the week.
Not weighing this week as off to hospital again tomorrow.
Hoping I manage to get a loss next week when I go to WI.
It's looking more and more likely we're not going to be able to go on holiday at the end of the month. I'm still waiting for an appointment with a consultant and when I phoned to check how long the waiting list is was told hopefully within 13 weeks! Could be middle of October before I get an appointment - just hope I don't have to continue with the weekly hospital visits until then!!!

Sorry Vegastare, didn't see your post as you posted while I was typing!
Well done on the loss. That's a good loss for someone in target! Good luck with getting to bottom end. I think it's what we all aspire to, especially if going on holiday, LOL!

Hope all goes well tomorrow Denise....could you maybe go away for a long weekend to some where nice. It might do you good a change.0

yes I was nominated too....hence me not staying today....not my type of thingWell done on your loss PIB. Just a pound to go for your shiny!:T
Great to hear about your WOY nominations too vegastare and beanie.:D
That's strange. I thought they were 'compulsory'. I don't go regularly enough to notice any more but I've never really enjoyed them. It maybe because I've always gone to a morning group and it seems odd to be snacking on curry cake or whatever at that time of day.
We had a great time last night. Food was delicious. We don't go to this (very expensive:eek:) restaurant that often and DH and I don't eat out on our own in the UK very often either (unless you count a quick JP before football). I love their prawn cocktail which has avocado in it and then I had cod on a bed of pesto gnocchi. That plus wine probably used up most, if not all, of the 56 syns.;)
Today will be syn free and then tomorrow starts a new syn bank. Lunch out tomorrow with friends so the week won't be starting well SW wise. I'm still writing everything down but I'll have to guess tomorrow's syns. I'm hoping for a STS over the two weeks.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, fried egg, baked beans
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and picklesSW Bolognese with tagliatelle, HEA2 Parmesan
Syns: None!:DWe tend to eat out a lunchtime on at least one day when we go away in the motorhome in the UK as we often go out first thing and then spend most of the day wandering around so need to eat something. Because if you have lost the most this year, but if you don't lose more than the person that got it last year they get it, but they have not lost it this year!
One of my consultants other groups has 2017 woman of the year in her group for the whole of SW with a loss of 18 stone, i can't see anyone beating that:rotfl::rotfl:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0
