Thanks everyone. I'm glad today is out of the way!

Well done pib. That's a great loss in the time.

Our group is usually quiet whenever there's a competition. So many people don't want to stay because of the tasters. We usually have about 30 people who stay regularly but only about a dozen stay for taster weeks. They still come to WI and then just go. Doesn't make sense to me. Why pay a fiver just to get weighed.

Funny Denise, it is the opposite for our group!
Always more stay at ours when it is a taster.

Well done Beanie on being nominated for WOTY. The only thing I've ever been nominated for is Diamond member of the Year. One it once. This year our consultant decided that there would be no nominations and that all Target members would be in the competion!

Our consultant can't wait for each of the competitions to come round as she loves tasters! Probably helps that there are quite a lot in my group and in one of her other groups that enjoy cooking and provided stuff that's worth eating! I get a bit fed up with people just bringing strawberries - even in winter when they've got no taste! or bottles of Diet Coke!

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB)
L - LO braised beef, duchess potatoes (using LO mash); green beans
D - burger (0.5); chips; mushrooms; onions; tomatoes; beans

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 0.5

If I need a snack I've still got the scotch egg I didn't eat yesterday so will have that.

That's strange. I thought they were 'compulsory'. I don't go regularly enough to notice any more but I've never really enjoyed them. It maybe because I've always gone to a morning group and it seems odd to be snacking on curry cake or whatever at that time of day.

We had a great time last night. Food was delicious. We don't go to this (very expensive:eek:) restaurant that often and DH and I don't eat out on our own in the UK very often either (unless you count a quick JP before football). I love their prawn cocktail which has avocado in it and then I had cod on a bed of pesto gnocchi. That plus wine probably used up most, if not all, of the 56 syns.;)

Today will be syn free and then tomorrow starts a new syn bank. Lunch out tomorrow with friends so the week won't be starting well SW wise. I'm still writing everything down but I'll have to guess tomorrow's syns. I'm hoping for a STS over the two weeks.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, fried egg, baked beans
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and pickles
D: SW Bolognese with tagliatelle, HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns: None!:D
