sky called me today and offered free sky+ box plus free installation , getting it thursday between 8am and 1pm. :j

to the top, for if anyone has any newer information on this? What have people been offered sky+ for (existing customers). I'm stuck at £29 + £30 install so £59 at the moment and they wont budge. Thinking of completely cancelling and hoping they write to me!

Just got a great deal from a guy calling at my door...

    HD box - £49
    Installation - Free
Sky Talk Line Rental - Free (supposed to be £10 mth)
    4 packs
    Sky Broadband Base - Free
    Sky Talk Freetime - Free

    Total - Set-up cost £49 & monthly cost - £29.25..............:j

The only issue there is that more than half of their HD channels are in the movies or sports packs which you don't have, sky's HD is a bit of a fiddle for the extra £10 a month you pay!

We have just had sky plus fitted (an ex-demonstation box) with a years warranty for £44 as we politely said our old sky box (7 yrs old) wasn't working and we thought it was too much money for a new one and we were happy to go to a freeview box. They put us through to cancellations before they offered us this.

Spoke to a sky rep today in tesco, offered me free HD box plus free instalation, 2 packs for £19 a month, broadband for £10 a month and line rental of £10. Altogether £39 a month! Contemplating it!! Got all the details and will go back tomorrow if I decide to go for it!

    Hi Karen
there's no mention above of the £10 per month for the HD pack? Or was he doing you a deal on this? If he is then it's a good deal; especially if you haven't got to take movies to get it

Yeah sorry forgot there was the £10 for HD, he wrote down figures for HD box and the other box. Started looking at both when typing!
