When I got the Free Sky Plus and the £30 cashback yesterday I understood the guy from Sky to be saying that the old box would be connected up to the new feed - so I don't think you'll have a problem. After all, a full installation for a new Sky customer would involve mounting a new dish etc - whilst I presume that for an existing customer it will just be a new LNB on the existing dish - so the installers will take less time in any case.
Please let us know how you get on.

I already have Sky+ and am outside of my 12 month contract.

Can I take advantage of this offer?

So I can have sky+ installed in another room, have multiroom (£10) and 6 mixes (£21) so £31 a month with free install? (is that correct?????)

    Thanks in advance

I already have sky + and multiroom too but wanted sky + in the other room too instead of the normal digibox - just called sky explaining that I may go to Virgin as they have offered a good deal for this......

they have just given me Sky + in the other room for free with free installation AND....

they have given me free broadband to stay with them too! what a result! :T

I have phoned twice now and e-mailed. First time they would not budge on £99 + installation. I have just phoned again and offered £49 with free installation. I told them I would think about it..... should I hold out? Sky have just also e-mailed me and will phone me back tomorrow. Hopefully they will give me one for free just to shut me up......fingers crossed!!!
I am only trying to help

Hey all, joined this forum today and I have just saved about £160. If I can save this much in less than a day I wonder how much in a week. lol I didn't really think this would work but it did and I am very thankful to all of you posting that helped me decide to at least try this. Once again thank you.
  • Today we called up sky and tried to cancel. My husband had wanted sky plus but I was not prepared to pay the £150 plus £30 installation as advertised on the website.

Our sky had broken and we had in fact got quite used to watching just freeview for the last couple of weeks. Once I said we wanted to leave they transfered us to cancellations and they gave us the box and installation for £49.00 A major saving from the website price. I didn't think about holding off again to see if I got it for free but it is being installed on Monday.

    Very happy. :T
