FOR FREE :question:0 -
I am currently in a 12 month contract expiring in April 2008. I called up today (thought that my contract ended in December for some reason), threatened to leave as I don't get time to watch much tv, and was offered (after a bit of haggling) the Sky plus box for £49 including installation. (On their website the existing customer "offer" is £149 plus £30 installation). I didn't call up their main number - I called 0808 1014438, cancellations, turnaround team. Been waiting a while for a good offer for existing customers so snapped it up quickly.
:D thanks op
Don't sweat the small stuff, Its all small stuff.0 -
I used the one in the first post, had to press a few numbers to direct my call, but got straight through to cancellations and was offered Sky+ for free immediately. I was previously on the full Sky TV package - All 6 mixes plus Sports and Movies.0

Hi, are you all having to enter into a new 12 months contract to get these deals? Thanks.0

yes another 12 months.. ah well0

Phoned up the SKY number as mentioned above and enquired about SKY+ and they asked how much i would like to pay so i said i have heard people getting it for £49 to which the woamn said the only way I would get it for £49 is to subscribe to sky surf, sky broadband and multiroom.
I only wanted SKY+ without multiroom and they said it would be £179, a bit crap considering have been on a £38 package for 2 years and get offered nothing, think I will phone the cancellation number / retentions line and see if they offer something better, dont mind paying upto £100 for SKY+0
