    Morning

Weather forecast still says no rain today so WM is swishing - but. looking out of the window, I have reservations as to the accuracy of the forecast :o

I didn't eat a load of sugary carp yesterday and I was up like a lark at 6.55 this morning :D (One day 'I am what I eat' will sink in to my tiny brain!)

Happy hatchday to Sweetie :) Three years old today :D

Hugs to all, especially those who are coping with anxiety :heartsmil

WM has finished swishing; I'm going to reload. Misplaced optimism? The first load certainly isn't going out yet!!!

    Morning all

Not much happening here as it is much too hot. I'm ok but dead slow is the only pace. I pottered slowly until around 3 yesterday afternoon then the house just got too hot so flaked out on the sofa for a couple of hours. I did sort through 2 shelves in a wardrobe, 2 more to go today. Working this afternoon so hope it won't be too hot in there, have an exam to set up and then on reception and admin so shouldn't be too bad, it's the first day of the sales here so am hoping folks will be in the shops not coming in to do inscriptions.

Time for more tea and to reload WM

    Ground floor dysoned
    2x wm done
Dancepops is sitting on a chair in our kitchen. I’m hoping to take him on a train before scattering the 2nd half of him.
I’m looking around a college for DS2 today and should visit Dancegran.

Aw Dancemum...when I had my beloved great-uncle here I had him 'out' in the dining room and spoke to him when I came in.

Well Round - you're not that far from me and it's raining here despite a 1% chance of rain according to the forecast.

Did fluff all yesterday in the end, so I plan to do the kitchen before work. Made a good start...am fed and showered.

Hmmm - I get the feeling it's just waiting for me to peg out the washing and then it will hiss down. And if I don't peg out it will stay dry :o I believe it's called Sod's Law!

Heyho - never mind, it's washed :D I'll drape on the airer for now.

    Better get dressed I suppose

    Kitchen cleaned.
Had the foresight to make a coffee before I steam mopped the floor so I'm sitting down with it now. I have also emptied upstairs bins and vacuum as tomorrow is bin day.

Plan to peg out washing put on hold.

    Popmaster on now.

Well I went for it and put my washing on the line despite it being very grey here! Will have to leap down two flights of stairs to bring it in if it starts raining! Not sure I can manage leaping at the best of times but should at least manage a fast shuffle!

Thanks for your good wishes, I’ve done a couple of hours of paid stuff and had several warm drinks, am feeling a little better so hope I continue to improve as the day goes on. What is it about a summer cold that seems to make it so much worse than a winter one?????

Have optimistically put second load in to swish just now. Also made bed.

Back to work now but I have a break between meetings in an hour or so. Will try and flutter round a bit then.

Hugs to all that need them, back later x

*Healing vibes* for your cold, Bad Cat and Ionafan's pulled muscle.
(((Hugs))) Sparkly Blonde. I hope you get some time away from the stressy 'coalface' very soon. Flying can and should wait until you feel more like yourself - a bit of dust and clutter never hurt anybody.
(((Hugs))) Mrs Moneypenny and Dancemum. Comforting having Dancepops with you for a day or two - I had to reread that several times before I 'got it'. I was a bit worried to begin with.

One load through the WM which OH hung out while Layla and I were out at her first proper training session. The trainer thinks she's a real little looker (she is), a lovely temperement (she is) and very intelligent (she also is.) She's also definitely an Alpha Female, as I'd worked out myself. The trainer has given me masses of new ideas and we're going to be visiting the secure field every week so she can get used to being off the lead in a place that's full of interesting smells and things to do. The field is used for agility training so she had a go at the tunnels - went straight through the first with only three small treats to get her started and then decided to do the second tunnel just because. Very unusual for a dog that's never seen anything like it before. She's not totally fearless, but close.
    Better is good enough.
  • Hi friends,

Another day done. I've passed the course I was on, done some laundry, done loads of work and told my boss not to speak to me like I'm a child. She is walking a fine line at the moment and I don't tolerate it anymore.

    Have lovely evenings all xx

Thanks Valli and HB, I did think i may seem a bit odd. We did take him to an outlet village to pick up some T-shirt’s for DS2 and then for a pub lunch before bringing him home. No one noticed. It is ice having him to myself for a bit.

    Bathroom cleaned
Packing commenced. We are having a weekend away.
