Cold no better, managed dailies and that’s it for me for today. Wash did just about dry and is on airer to finish. Hot bath, hot drink and bed awaits. Hope I feel better tomorrow x0

Dancemum, we drove my auntie from the Midlands back to London so that she could rest with her parents and sisters. When we stopped for coffee at the motorway services, we left her sitting in the back of the car. She was fine
Found myself sitting in a draught for an hour and a half at the meeting, which did not help my back, but got home safely after a long day out and have finally got properly warm this evening, so the pain has subsided.
Lovely to hear of Layla's fearlessness, Honey Bear :T Rosie is just coming up to her 2nd Gotcha Day and has gone from a terrified scrap who ran away at the sight of a brush to an outgoing madam who has just spent all of the 10 o'clock News slot lying on my feet, on her back - every time I stopped stroking her and plucking her loose fur, she nudged me and insisted that I should continue. She is currently shaking her "babies" (i.e. squeaky cuddly toys) wildly with a mega-waggy tail and lots of pretend growling to make sure that I take notice of what she's doing. I'm sure she and Layla will get on well together when we finally make it back to your part of the world.
Bedtime for me now... and Rosie is reminding me that she always has 2 treats just before I switch off the light.0 -
Morning all,
Gorgeous sun today, off to work for me, should be fun! (Insert sarcastic smiley here!)
Washing on line, unloaded DW last night, so all reasonably ship shape.
Have lovely days all xx0 -
Morning
It's still overcast here! But WM has finished swishing first load and it's going out on the line! Second load is going in.
I am dressed and bin men have been so I'll bring in the bins, feed the birds and put out the recycling too.
Have a good day.

Still struggling in heat wave here (sorry folks) but today might be easier because it is quite breezy (almost windy) so hoping it won't get quite so stifeling hot this afternoon. My motivation seems to have gone AWOL so not holding out for great things but will see. Would like to finish my bedroom wardrobe so that at least doors shut easily. It's half done so shouldn't take that long.
WM has been on so that is all DD1 stuff done so I might suggest lunch with her tomorrow to take it back.
OH still away but back tomorrow afternoon then we're off across the water to a family catch up
Have a good day0 -
SIL visited yesterday
2 x WM out on line in the wind
Hoovered downstairs
Admin work done
Maggot bin emptied and washed out
Machine walk done
A bit fed up with life today and some idots in it, I think I'm going to clear them out of my life once and for all.............. I just don't need it, I'm 50+ years old and being treated like I am 4 (where you going, what you doing, why are you going that, all the time) etc I wouldn't mind, if I was rolling in at 3am or so, drunk, smoking 'herbs' etc with undesirables, making a mess, leaving bottles etc all over the place, playing music at 3am loudly, waking everyone up etc then I could understand.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Washing line is full - two loads swished today - including my fleece and gloves - plus the still damp washing from yesterday. Airer stood outside in the sun
with yesterday's almost dry washing draped on it. That leaves two pairs of jeans and a jumper to wash later or tomorrow. I'll make a note to strip my bed and change the towels tomorrow too and get them washed before DS arrives home with a suitcase of holiday washing on Saturday. Sound like a plan
I've started writing things down in my bujo again - that way I don't have to remember not to forget all the time! Might free up a few functioning brain cells for other stuff. Fingers crossed
I've tidied the table top by my chair, and I've sorted through a pile of paper / magazines etc to find a valid Mr T voucher (I knew it was in there somewhere!). So now I'll prepare an on-line order.
I will be organised. I will.

Hi all
Feeling a little better after a loooong sleep last night, morning of paid stuff done, 1 load swished and on line, perfect drying weather today! Next load swishing at the moment.
Going to take it slowly today as am still not 100%, will do the dailies after work, also need to empty all the bins for collection day tomorrow and do my menu plan and shopping list.
Will call that my list for today and if I manage anything else it will be a bonus. The house doesn’t look too bad so it won’t matter too much if I have a couple of slower days.
Have a good day all, back later x0 -
GWS vibes to all who need them.
Been to work, came home early (read: only 1 extra unpaid hour for a change) in order to kick the house into touch.
WM run and washing blowing nicely in the sun. DW just finishing. WULTD a few bits from prepping dinner in the sc. Bread finally mixed, as the starter has been sitting around for a couple of days. A bag of DD’s virtually new clothes collected by a neighbour for her DGD so one bag less in the house. DD’s bedding changed.
Still to start the vacuuming which was the reason for getting back early.....0 -
I think the only thing that really frightens Layla is me going out without her but we're working on it. She's made the connection that if the dogsitter appears I will probably be going out, which is a problem. The dogsitter and I have just sat in the garden for an hour while she played with her puzzle ball and had a second shot at scent training. She was much more relaxed so from tomorrow we'll be going to the dog sitter's house for an hour a day, prior to her being there for the weekend next week. :fingers crossed:
Hotter than Hades here but with an incredibly strong wind, so OH did another two loads of washing, pegged them out and watered the pots. I did my normal volunteering and am staring at pages of minutes from last night, about to do the Action Points so I don't hold anyone up, and with the intention of not letting them become Froggie this time.Better is good enough.0
