Just having a break from the gardening with an early lunch. Going to stay in the shade and knit for a while once I've washed the dishes, then I'll get back on to the garden.Spend less now, work less later.0

Lots of washing on the line - but before I pegged that out I strimmed the former veg bed (and rescued two frogs) and cut the back lawn.
I haven't had my shower yet; so that's next.

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
House is done! Just had second shower as was about to melt, will run a load of towels through wm this afternoon, everything I washed this morning is already dry! Love this weather!
Plan for this afternoon is to sit in the shade with my book and relax, may potter a bit in the garden this evening when it’s a bit cooler.
Have a lovely day all, stay hydrated and don’t overheat!

Just spent a couple of hours in the shady front garden doing weeding. It looks so much better.Spend less now, work less later.0

Washing all dry. Ironing pile is huge, even with taking loads straight to the airing cupboard. Hot and bothered after waiting in the car with a magazine for DD but I did get parked in the shade or it would have been unbearable. I need the sun to shift slightly before part of the back garden gets into the shade and the thirsty plants can be sorted.0

Front grass cut. That's it for me today.Spend less now, work less later.0

Kaz, hope you're more comfortable today. My DD had a dance career cut short by a foot injury. My rule for the garden is that if any tools are involved then sturdy shoes go on.
Had a rant on my diary thread if anyone wants to comment. Still seething this morning.
Today will be dailies, s&s kitchen and bathrooms, one wash load and more pottering in the garden.
I have already been for a run and walked the dogs.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all,
Big hugs to Jazee and Kaz this morning. Very late to bed last night, we watched 'When they see us', very harrowing but outstanding acting,
I'm in bed with a cuppa, will get up shortly and strip our bed. Kids beds done yesterday. I will then make a chilli, walk the dog, and do some bits of admin xx0 -
Morning all
Hugs to those that are in need and GWS vibes being sent.
Forecast is cooler for today thank goodness!
DH will mow the lawn when he gets up, my plan is to breakfast, put dishes away, WM x 1 is swishing and the basket is empty! (For the moment!).
A few admin bits to do and a bit of work prep for next week.
Think I might have a bit of me time and give myself a manicure later on.
May also go out for a nice walk
Have a lovely day all x0
