My Cleaning Lady was in today and just getting over pneumonia. DH noticed she was coughing badly when cleaning bathroom. She said it is the stardrops that I use for the bathroom cleaning. I am really worried now as I think this is not good for her. What do you think? I can use the Stardrops when she is not here but maybe I should get something else for her?

Well when my four were younger, we counted any day that was bloodless a success:rotfl:

I've been blunt, I've told the lodger that for £250 the uncles will expect sex, but she's sure I'm wrong. I think Donnygal is right when she says that the lodger has misunderstood what's written on some of the websites. I can't tell the head yet as she'll be thrown out straight away. I'm hoping another couple of dates & she'll realise I'm right. If she carries on I will report her as I don't want to get involved when it all goes tits up. She does believe she's cleverer than me as she's a teacher, which is why she doesn't believe me.
Right, I've made 2 doz choc chip cookies, 2 doz weetabix brownies, 2 doz fairy cakes a banana loaf & a tray of flapjacks, I hope it's enough for work tomorrow.
    Hugs Hester

    Evening all

Well Mr Shared Care Enthusiast has been told that he is looking after his dd tomorrow as I will not be paid if I take any more time off (liar liar) and that I can't afford to pay her dsis the £15 (ooooops pants on fire) I pay her for emergency child care. He is going to take her to work      he says as his job is very important and he is indispensable. Well he says he is going to be here "early" in the am so place your bets as to whether "early" will give me enough time to get to work on time. I have thursday off any way - she is supposed to be doing her cross country run but that's out now - and he will have to step in again on friday. Just lately he has been over critical about the house, her diet, her care - well everything really so I am merely inviting him to take a more active role in these things.

call from ex-bil today. We are arranging a huge family meet up - ddad is hosting dbro from NZ, dsis and exbil from Canada and me and little dbro from uk ANd all our friends and relations around xmas and new year but dsis's new boyf is uncomfortable about her spending time with exbil unless I stay in the house they are renting with her. I ask you! They haven't been together for 5 years, she has known the new guy for 2 months and he is laying down the law. ex-bil wants me to speak to her and see exactly what's going on. I did want to stay at ddad's but that would be on the floor probably and dsis and ex-bil can afford to rent a big house for the week so it would be more comfortable - families eh!

Oh Hester - I hope the .... ahem ... Uncles don't start suing your lodger for breach of implied contract - actually it does sound pretty dangerous. Did the agency not explain things properly to her
