Not feeling too good this morning, woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible headache and feeling sick. Still feel headachy & sick & also v tired.

Need to get OH to the docs today as his kidney stone has not yet made an appearance and he is still in pain. So we are the house of doom today.

Should be doing loads - have more paperwork and ironing but will be only doing the essential paperwork and lying down a lot.

    No idea whats for dinnner.

Your latest lodger story did make me smile though Hester which is saying something today.

Turns out the lodger is working as an escort, so a few words have been said, I can't see it lasting long as she hasn't yet realised that the new uncles will want more than just scintillating conversation!

..... but looking on the bright side at least she will be going out at night and should be able to pay her rent on time.

back to w*rk today after my loooong weekend. dd and dgs came round yesterday and dd took her little sis back with her as she is still not well enough for school - not sure she is well enough for a day with dgs but never mind. We all played boggle last night with dgs shaking the bits - spent a good half hour looking for one of the peices when dgs shook a bit too enthusiastically and then dd found it tucked into his coat sleeve when she took him home :) He's such a little tike - i have been worrying about his talking - didn't see him for a few days and now he's chatting away like a good'un - he has done the same with all his landmarks - maybe it's a boy thing as I'm only used to girls.

Called Mr I-Want-Shared-Care last night to tell him that he would have to abandon his dirty weekend with gf and come and look after his sick daughter but it seems that it was inconvenient but if she could arrange to be sick at a more amenable time he would be more than happy - it was ever thus.

have a good day all :)

Maybe the time to remind him of the offer about paying a little more so you didn't have to work!! Then you would be home!

    Morning all:hello:

Woke up today to find a trap sprung in the kitchen but no mouse in it  Managed to clean the cupboards yesterday and found some mouse droppings in the tupperware cupboard - thank godness they all had lids and there was no food in there. There's a gap at the back of the cupboard where they must have got in.

Going in to town today hopefully, although my joints are a bit sore at the moment. I just need to muster some enthusiasm. Also want to finish off my online christmas shop with asda. Once that's delivered I will just need the fresh stuff.

Hope everyone has a good day, and hugs to all that need them.

    Morning All

Started trying to post yesterday to tell you about my day, but life intervened and I got side-tracked so try again today.

Ended up at The Range http://www.therange.co.uk/scat/listofstores and got tempted. Sitting yesterday and looking at my lounge curtains, think - I'm fed up of these terracotta/gold swags and tails, they are now showing they are not new, and I want a change, this thought has occurred to me frequently, but not done anything about it up to now. However, I saw some cream fully lined curtains with tie backs 90 x 90 for £32.99 and couldn't resist. Of course I need a dfferent curtain pole for these curtains, so double it. Then wanted some new cushions, and found some suede effect with stitching detail on reduced to £6.99 each from £9.99. Today's task is to take a piccy of exisiting curtains/swags/tails so I can freecycle them(me), (DH)take them down make good the wall where brackets fitted, replace the rail. (me) Iron them and hang them.

In addition, I must put away all things brought back from Spain, together with xmas pressies bought yesterday, and then start clearing kitchen ready for builder!

(((hugs)))) to everyone, must go catch you later I hope.
