Bad time of year or rubbish photos?

We went on the Market a week Wednesday and have had NO interest at all. I just don't know why though. The price is right for the area, it's all good quality things inside, but I Just don't understand why no interest?

Yes I know it's only been 1 1/2 weeks, but I'm stumped as to why there's nothing at all.

I know there is a property just up the road for £224950, but that needs a lot of work inside to a) make the layout liveable (they tried to annex it) and b) get it to a good standard interior.

The 4 bed at the top of the road needs new electrics so is on cheaper.

Only 1 bedroom pictured. Are the others too small and you think it would put people off?

Agent has said this in an email:

Please see attached the Rightmove performance chart for your home. As you can see since going on the market we have had a good level of views, but unfortunately no viewings booked in, we have also emailed and called your home round to our database which included 186 applicants that match requirements with your home. We have also advertised your home in the paper, sometimes it takes a little longer to get the viewings through the door but I’m confident we will soon and are still pushing it this end.

It's a Rat and Dog cage ;) But do you really think that makes a difference? it's a 4mx4m room and we have nothing to put in that corner :D

Yeah the 3rd bedroom is a box room and the 2nd bedroom has a bunkbed and wardrobes in it, But I'm guessing the photos didn't come out well or made them look small? I'll ask and see what they say.

Would you want the measurements on the floorplan or just in the description? I'll get them to add feet and inches to the description though.

Get the pics swapped around so number 2, the outside, is first. There's a fair bit of duplication in the pics, and some godawful snaps.

There's nothing horrifically awful about the listing, so comparables...
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-65329009.html has a conservatory and better garden, but needs a bit of a facelift and de-granny inside - but it's £10k cheaper, and hasn't shifted in over a year.

This sold fairly quickly, asking price £5k cheaper than you. I've not compared room dimensions, but I'd say bigger.

Front of house pic is terrible and the tree blocking the door is poor, Next doors canopy makes yours look like sh!!. Floor plan and re-order the pics, it was a while until i worked out the kitchen is at the front of house so you aren't walking strait into the living room from the front door, i hate houses like that.

The Dog cage looks tiny in that huge room so it doesn't bother me at all,

Yeah I thought the pics were rubbish too. Photoshopped to hell and just not great angles.

I agree the canopy needs a clean to make it look better. We bought the house with the canopy and didn't really care that it was different to next doors but I suppose everyone is different.

What do you mean floorplan? There is a floorplan....

For me its just a bit bland, there is nothing making me go Wow.

The outside and garden looks a bit sad and the inside looks a bit 'bachelor pad cluttered'. It has no character or cosiness.

Even the kitchen looks a bit bland, maybe the odd vase of flowers on the window sill to cheer it up.

I would definitely be put off by the cages in the corner, even though there is room for them I wouldn't want to view a house with such an obvious animal presence.

I would try to move some of the masculine features, cars on the wall, shelves etc and maybe give it a more family feel. Perhaps find someone to have the cages until you have sold and maybe put the guitars in that corner.
