Hi, my dad gets pension credit I noticed on the most recent email I have received that he can get a tv licence - how do I go about this for him? He’s not quite 75 yet, however he does as I said before get state pension.
Itll still be freefor anyone over 75 till June 2020. Their is a phone number for renewals, he really should of contacted them at the last licence renewal, and paid pro rata till 75th birthday.0 -

Slight exaggeration there. Capita don't kick in doors.0 -
Except that the government has the downright cheek to be blaming the BBC for this - when it's actually the government that dumped the financial responsibility for it from itself to the BBC.
The Government didn't "dump" anything on the BBC. It was part of a deal the BBC agreed toJohnson would be an appropriate leader (but a hopeless PM!)
You think Comrade Corbyn would be a better PM?0 -

Obviously you can't use the Prime Ministers salary as a benchmark because the job is severely underpaid.
The CEO's of a lot of companies earn much much more.0 -
