    Morning Guys and Girls 😊

    How is everyone today?

I have set up new payment plans for DT3 & DT4, unsure on what overpayments I will manage over the course of the next few months. I guess I feel lucky in a way, despite what is going on in the world I would be able to work from home if required (although not quite sure if work are planning that) I think our client will quite possibly take that choice out of their hands pretty soon anyways. I also do get company sick pay so would be on full pay for 3 months if the worst happened and work was cancelled, although some ppl don’t get that. Its complicated at work with things as our service desk runs 24/7 and is a one person per 12 shift operation (which is crazy considering how busy it is haha but that’s a whole different convo) but if one of us was to go sick it would create chaos so really not sure how the situation is going to play out.

Hope everyone has a good day

10 Days until pay-day.  The budget is looking good at the moment, i reckon that i should get to month end with a surplus so this will then be used to put towards clearing DT1. I am currently feeling quite proud that all the financial stuff is falling into place and the action plan i put in all those months ago is starting to come through. The debt isn't shifting as quick as planned, however I know that in the next few months I should be able to make over-payments.

Wheels have now been shipped out via DPD and I am hoping to get them before i go back to work on Thursday night - still not had much clear instruction from work about the C word plans so that is going to be interesting, a-lot of the client meetings have been cancelled and i would expect more to follow.

The one down side to my days off when much isn't going off means i surf the net a bit - which results in seeing things i wanna buy hahaha. All which i have no way of affording right now but it makes me mad that i have crappy debt to pay and can't treat myself  sometimes. Its never really being about having 'stuff' recently but it would be nice to be able to put money into saving up for things that need replacing.

Wow! What a week...thank god for my four days off!.

Hope everyone is doing okay, i have followed diaries a little in the background so need to properly catch up. Its been a crazy week. In good news the in-house tension has now disappeared so that is certainly a good thing, think it just came down to both not really knowing what to do for the best whilst still trying to not impact life too much...obviously things have got way more serious now in the world so hope everyone is taking care where possible.

In finance news i have not really kept track this last week due to various things but i have defo not slipped off the wagon just had other things took over. I can't wait to have the DT2 paid though.

Work - : I am getting a little frustrated with the lack of any sense of what they plan to do in the eventuality that we get caught up in the COVID stuff, we have had a few off with symptoms and are off and the office is so close and they are not exactly making things easy and i am starting to feel a little uncomfortable with the situation now - given my partner has severe asthma, my little one has a very weak immune system, unfortunately i fall into the keywork catergory (which is debatable lol but i am). I just am so scared of bringing it back into a household that is weakened

Family - : We have the little one that is ill again - she has now got Scarlet fever so we now have to be even more careful with her in current climate. In addition the situation with my dad has now got worse again, he has now become very much dependent on alcohol and was found collapsed outside a shop two days ago where paramedics had to do CPR following him going into cardiac arrest. This brings another set of challenges that include dealing with several issues with my sister and now everyone wanting me to be there taxi, which i am not keen to do given the circumstances.

I am wide awake given i was on nights last few shifts so now i will be in night mode - and will be watching the news where i fully expect some-sort of tougher lockdown, but that unfortunately changes very little in my world in regards to work. In more positive news my budget is certainly holding up really well which given i bought new wheels (which were to go on car for a visit to Scotland - which is likely to now not happen) is a good thing.

    Payday in 4 days :)

Keep safe guys and gals x

    Evening All,

Feel back in normal mode now haha - always takes a day to get back into the right mode following my last night shift. Today i have managed to start cleaning the kitchen, i plan to clean this completely and make some more space. Today i did fridge and freezer and got rid of the gone off food and managed to create a more spacious fridge so hopefully stuff won't be wasted anymore.

Tomorrows plan is to get up early and do the PE lesson from Joe Wick youtube with the little one which should be good for us both and will keep me in shape while gym is back open. Then i will hopefully get round to doing more of the kitchen while the partner goes through some learning with the little one. Its really hard to keep her going with this, i guess coz she is at home she is not used to having to do her whole learning here so its deffo hard to keep her occupied with it but we hopefully will get there.

Hope everyone is doing well :smile

    Hey All,

    Hope everyone is doing well.

Well the Joe Wicks PE lesson was completed...OMG give me the gym back any day haha. It was fun and a good way to get in my morning exercise and a way of keeping fit. The little one loved it too, although she is still not loving the school at home vibe.

Well, we hit a milestone today….I have been able to pay some of my next months bills out of the wage I got paid in February which means I am finally getting there. I won’t get too excited as it was only about £60 of bills but its £60 I don’t need to find from my March wage :)

  • That's brilliant you got to pay some bills from the current wage! Well done

Glad to hear Joe Wicks PE Lesson was fun, I've seen lots of people saying it's good :)

This whole budgeting things not bad when it works ha!.

PE lesson is brilliant, whilst i do think there has been alot of people being very selfish during this whole 'situation' it is outweighed by the amazing way people have worked around things and tried doing good. It also highlights the amazing things we can do with technology.

Hope you are keeping well :)

    Hey,
Its payday  all monies are split into the areas needed and ready to be taken out when needed. I have made the manual payment that clears DT2! Woohooo, so i need to update my signature to reflect that. I will then look to clear my other two targets which may take a little longer as we are starting to go up in balance now, so would imagine would be a few month before those are cleared but we shall see as every spare bit i have is going to be thrown at DT3 to get that cleared and then DT4 after that.

Today was my last of my days off and now have 4 day shifts to contend with, still not overly happy that I have to go to work and discussions with other colleagues over last few days seem to indicate neither are they. Me and another staff member are worried about bringing home the infection to our families, where as a few live alone so are not really worried. Luckily only my shift tomorrow and Monday will have many in office - Saturday and Sunday will just be me and a member of security.

Hope everyone is keeping as safe as possible
