Good to see you updating I did wonder if you were ok :)

well done on having money AND petrol left at the end of the month
    Hey :)
I am still moving along haha. I am glad to see you are well and truly smashing the shred, good on you! Its always more difficult to update when i am working days as the days are often early starts and long day. I did start the other work stuff mentioned by manager a few weeks ago which means shortly there may be a shift change from days/nights to perm days so that would be good.

Hope you are taking care of yourself. x

    Morning All :)

How is it the end of February already :) Payments for general bills have now started coming out so my income balance slowly dropping haha. This month has been nice and steady although debt isn’t coming down as quick I now feel like I am starting to get the balance better

    Work:

Work seems to be improving and whilst I have a feeling some of my colleagues are going to be unhappy about how my progression impacts them I am trying not to worry to much about that. If all goes as planned I will be changing shifts to a more normal Monday – Friday 9/5 which is welcomed. I have tried to get away from all the negative stuff going off and that has helped so overall work okay at present which is a plus….also they have upped my wage by way of a £100 bonus for helping out (not much but still better than nothing)

    Debt / Budget:

This is something I really need to focus back on, I haven’t slipped of the bandwagon so to speak but feel this has taken a side-ways step in order to really nail down a budget I am comfortable with, which whilst will benefit me in the long run feels meh at the minute. Although from April the budget will go down slightly whilst income goes up slightly so hoping I can then really smash some debts. I shouldn’t be too downbeat as the debt is still coming down which it wasn’t 6 months ago so every cloud :)

    Myself:

I am starting to feel a bit more like myself now, I have focused on trying to think about the positives I have going off rather than anything else so that has worked so far. I am looking after myself way more fitness wise, the gym has really helped me gain some confidence and also helped mentally too. I have started listening to lots of podcasts also trying to get more sleep which isn’t always easy. One place I let myself down is eating healthy or properly I need to really get better at this. Reading is really going okay to still got a few pages to read of my 1st book then onto the next.

Overall budget / myself and work all going pretty well….q everything starting to go wrong! Hahaha but I feel quite good at the minute I just need to focus on ways to get this debt off. Targets next month are:

    1. - Update diary more
    2. - Get a proper food plan in place
    3. - Keep up with gym

Money wise there was more money than month again so that is all good. Hope everyone has a good Friday

    Hi

Yeah it’s been a pretty good month, which I welcome considering how rubbish I felt recently. I am starting to feel the benefits now of budgeting properly (I like many others wonder why I never got my !!!!!! in gear sooner).

I have never ever been used to having more money than month and its purely a mindset thing. I used to think if I wanted new things it would need to be done right now, where as now I have a wishlist of things I really want and I will put set amounts from spare funds, This way I am working towards things but also gives me time to review and assess whether this is the right thing for what I need.

    Here is to March :)

  • Morning All,

Hope everyone is ok, ewww what a crappy weather day. I have not much planned luckily as I would not want to be out in this. Food shop done yesterday and even managed a cheeky treat, its not the most MSE friendly place to go but….we went to the local M & S on route to food shop, as they are meant to have some really good free from stuff and they had the most yummy looking cheesecake so I got that as a wee treat for after dinner OMG IT WAS LUSH!! hahaha but way to expensive in that place for it to be a regular thing, they do have some really nice things though.

In other news the lil one is under the weather we have had to keep her off school and drama due to chicken pox, hoping we can get her back soon as she hates missing it but it has meant some much needed rest for her I guess.

Hope you all have an amazing weekend, all regular bills have come out and budget looks good. I need to look at the manual debt payments now.

    Hi All,

Monday again, today been quite relaxed. I woke and spent most of my morning finishing reading my book, it was quite refreshing to just lay and relax - no noise - no technology for a few hours. Then I got up did my morning exercise and then topped up the oil in my car. My car does need washing but going to leave that til tomorrow where i will take to car wash to get done...be nice in summer when i can get back to washing it myself, but a little windy to be doing that haha.

Hope everyone had a good weekend

    Morning All,

Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm up and about waaaaay to early...I have a night shift to contend with later. I am trying to fast forward to a time when I am working a normal time 😂..I guess I shouldn't wish away time.

Not much to really report, I need to save some money from this month and next months wages to try pay off car insurance in full, but going to be tight I think.

Hope everyone has a good day. 😀

£58.00 payment made to Debt Target 2 - more over-payments to follow later in month. This should be cleared hopefully with this months income. :)  Signature updated

    Not alot but small steps.
