  • Just made a brew and had a bit of a catch up. It's been an age since I've been knocking around here, much to my own detriment but I'm glad to see you're ticking along so well! You're doing fantastic and are definitely a source of inspiration and motivation for me.

    My List Of Things Today

    - Declutter the entrance area/conservatory - This is currently taking up old boxes full of old paperwork / some toys and also our coats and shoes but they look so untidy. Our plan was to turn this into a entrance area, so i am going to declutter and then look to see if i can find a shoe tidy and a few coats hooks to tidy this area up. This has now been done straight off a night shift and now looks way tidier. There is still a little bit more work in here but instead of bags everywhere of rubbish upon rubbish that is not needed or used this is now in one box with most of rubbish binned. I have letters that need shredding which I can do on my night shift next week. Ah now that feels good!!! hahahaha.
  • They're going...getting back on it now and knuckling down as I should have been. It's amazing how changing routine's can ruin all your plans, right?

Yep! Agreed, I think once you get your mindset into a routine any change in that ultimately changes the plans. I guess some changes of plan can't be helped but it will do you good to get back on it.

My List Of Things To Do Today

    - I have several books / blu-rays that are gathering dust and not even being used, also taking up pointless space. I will look on-line later to see if i can sell some things to get money to pay off my debt. Anything i can not sell i will donate. This has been sorted and ready to go, the books are not really worth selling on any of the online sites so I will donate these to a charity shop. The DVDs/Games I don't play anymore will be sold in CEX and will make me £53 which isn't allot given their original retail value but is money for things gathering dust.

    The Things To Do Today

    - Winter / Summer /work wardrobes is something i have always thought makes sense, i have 3 drawers full of clothes i do not wear and have never worn. I may look to sell these or donate as unsure if any use for anyone online selling. I possibly under-estimated the scale of this task:rotfl::rotfl: I have not got close to finishing this but I do have 3 days off now to complete this task so hopefully by the time I go back to work this will be done.
  • Morning All

Not much MSE wise going off but posting to keep my diary updated, I have successfully completed budget and figures seem to suggest I can possibly pay of £500 a month to service my debts with a bit surplus for savings pots. I really need to focus on this as it requires me to not be as generous with personal spends as I have been recently but the fact I could be DF within 12 months as to be a driving force for me. I plan on only spending on NEEDS and not WANTS this year but that is going to take a change in mindset.

Yesterday was such a nice day, I decided to tackle the declutter process and the area cleaned looks so much better, I am not falling over stuff going into that room and do not get stressed by looking at the mess in there. So that feels like a success :)

    Todays Plan

    - Meal Plan: I have been watching youtube (which seems to be a bit of a recurring theme right now!) and seen some interesting meal plan ideas so going to try them.

    - Grocery Shop: I need to do a food shop but unsure if to do online or just go to Ald! Aldi does save us money but not sure we always get what we need, maybe the meal plan will help with this.

    - Finish debt plans for 2020: I have listed all the debts onto a tracker sort of thing so I can get a bit of an idea as to when they will be paid off. So I need to fill figures in based on my current payment amount which will be £450 to start with and then increase to £500 a few months into the year.

Online Shopping Task : I need to look online for some new coats hooks to go in entrance area, we currently have a coat/shoe rack combined but it so cluttered and messy so I plan to get a few coat hooks to put up and then a shoe cupboard thing under it. I want to keep cost to a minimum here

Right, given myself a busy day :rotfl: First up is coffee. Have a great day all

    Todays Plan

    - Meal Plan: I have been watching youtube (which seems to be a bit of a recurring theme right now!) and seen some interesting meal plan ideas so going to try them. Done :) - Now to stick to it, kinda gone for picking 20/30 meals we love as a family and will then pick set meals every week before grocery shop and kinda go on a rotation of these meals. Also put in room for a few quick cheat meals when cooking from scratch can't be done (well when I am feeling lazy ha) but can hopefully avoid takeaways

Online Shopping Task : I need to look online for some new coats hooks to go in entrance area, we currently have a coat/shoe rack combined but it so cluttered and messy so I plan to get a few coat hooks to put up and then a shoe cupboard thing under it. I want to keep cost to a minimum here - Done, found one that is coat hook/shelve type thing with room for two storage drawers too so this should do the job. I will think it over rather than buy on impulse.
