    Happy FriYAY all,

Yesterday was as expected my 1st NSD :D.

Today it won't be as i have little one full of energy and as she as filled her reward chart she choose soft play as her treat...yay! haha. This shouldn't be too dear though and hopefully the air and playing around tires her out.

I need to log into my Lowell account today as they have sent me a letter offering a discount of 50% on an old outstanding account, it still shows on my Credit report and this bugs me a little as i was paying payments to my step mum for this and she never bloody paid it!! They will let me pay over 3 months so that should help, always unsure if these offers are geniune though?? Anyone clarify

Hope you all have a fab day

soft play - not my favorite memories, but the kids loved it

not sure about the debt, but I would start a separate thread outside the diary area as it might get more attention - its a clear enough question
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • Lowell are good with their settlements, they are much more flexible than some others with letting you spread your settlement figure over a few months - I've done it with a couple in the past :)

Brill, that is good to know. I will make the arrangement as that means the debt figure decreases slightly too :) :T

Ha, not my idea of fun either but the little one loves soft play, keeps saying gives her friends to play with.

    Morning All,

Hope you all had a fab Saturday, mine was a boring one in the house. I am currently not moving about as well as i could be as i have infection in leg and started to get worse..on the positve side it ment a NSD so that is good. Today will be a spend day though, working tonight so need to buy some stuff for packed lunch also need to fill car up. We do have a fair bit spare from wages though only left to pay now is Car Insurance and Gas/Electric so in a good place. I may use some of the spare to pay off a smaller debt but i worry i will then regret that if we run out of funds later in month.

Its been nearly a month since i started this journey, later during my night shift i am going to sit and work out what has worked for me and what hasn't worked so much, i am still very much learning to budget but i think its going well and this diary is a place for me to write down my thoughts/fears and positives which ive never really had before and its really helping me move forward.

Have a great Sunday....sorry for the ramble! :D
  • Hope the leg heals soon for you, sounds nasty... Happy Sunday :)

yes, look after yourself. if you have a leg thing that's not healing well, that was one of the signs when the docs diagnosed me as pre diabetic. if you are at the doctors get them to do a sugar test.

not being melodramatic, it might just be a gammy leg, but if your sugar is high, then its really important to catch it early - the longer your body runs too hot the more damage it does to your gaskets :-).

I was classic middle age and chubby, but although that is a common body shape its not the only one for people who end up needing help

Thanks DITR & Mark.. The leg started off a cyst on my leg which doc said was no concern 6 months later its infected badly. They gave tablets to get rid of it but seems to be getting worse not better. I find it difficult to put too much pressure on it so just trying to rest it as much as possible

That sounds different but in a I would get to the. Doctors sort of way. I know blokes don’t do that - right. But with a cyst it can prevent the antibiotics from getting in and you may need a couple of IV ones. That sorted me out when I got infected bigly after the mower sharpened then javelined a stick into my shin
