Thanks bargepole. That made me smile! In my view, in my case the LPC rep only dug a deeper hole and then jumped in it.

It sounds as if DDJ Harvey wasn't up to slapping down the buffoon on this occasion,
In which case the defendant should have. I know that the meek shall inherit the earth, but in the meantime ...
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
Justice has been done that is for sure. Will OPS/QDR appeal? There is always that chance, but they and others will have a significant few hurdles to jump to do so.
You mean like BWLegal did in Southampton and Coupon-mad smashed them4 -
To be honest DP Dance, I was a bit shaken and had not even known that I would, or even could be cross examined. I did ask though for my 'turn', but Judge Harvey clearly had had enough and wanted to wrap up. It was unfortunate that Judge Harvey was unwell and we were disappointed to come away from that court room with no conclusion. As you will soon see though, time to read all the documents properly enabled the Judge to make a judgment which is not only the right and fair one for my case, but will hopefully have an effect far greater in the longer term. I hope so.

OPS have been warned that they face a Civil Restraint Order application by the court if they file a case like this again.Do you think they will even understand what it means? Hopefully they will chug on and issue one case too far! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They probably think a Civil Restraint Order is a polite means of purchasing additional seat belts for their people carriers5
