Parking Fine for Unloading

Read, and understand, the newbies thread.
If you want to know if THIS firm tries court, you need to do some research yourself.0 -
The only evidence I have is of the lady who moved her car so I could park. No amount of reading will tell me whether or not this is enough evidence or not. I’ve since spoken to the shopping centre management and they are looking into it but as I was parked NOT in a parking space, even though only for a few minutes to unload, I was still “parked” incorrectly. The other 1 Hour 20 minutes, after I moved, was fine, of course.
As far as going to court, if the management say I’ve got to pay, I will. Not going through anymore stress on this.0 -
If you know why not answer instead of being so evasive. I can’t find anything on this. This is the first time anything like this has happened and I’m looking for help, couldn’t find it anywhere, so came here.1

Thanks for this but nothing there tell me what I need to no. It does not go into specifics. If you park on the car park and leave your car longer than the stated time it’s your fault. I did not. I was unloading, I was stopped at the only place I could as all spaces were full. I was stopped on a hatched area in the middle for 6 minutes. Then a space became available and I parked there. I was done for ‘Unloading’ can you be done for this? Does anyone know.0 -

This is a completely unregulated industry. They can do you for anything they like. That includes wearing a loud tee-shirt or stepping on the cracks in the pavement.
The issue is will it stand up in court? The answer to that is you won't know unless they attempt a claim. At this point the crystal ball gets fuzzy.
Your odds of winning will be directly proportional to the amount of effort you put in to defending a claim if one ever arrives. One may, or may not, arrive.0 -
Yes, they will, but like we said you do not have to pay and unloading where you were relying on a verbal agreement, IS a decent defence. So this means they can take me to court then. But would they for £100.
The options for you right now are as we said;
- ignore PCM
- complain to the venue Management in writing, and NOT to security guy by phone.
There is NO appeal. You would 99% likely WIN in your local court, but why not complain in writing to the site Management?
I already told you, you cannot be ''done'' by PCM, and I showed you they were outed on Watchdog as 'rogue traders.I was stopped on a hatched area in the middle for 6 minutes. Then a space became available and I parked there. I was done for ‘Unloading’ can you be done for this? Does anyone know.
This is not a fine.
This is beatable in court. if you make the effort. As waamo said:Your odds of winning will be directly proportional to the amount of effort you put in to defending a claim if one ever arrives.
Only a mug with more money than sense would pay PCM after coming here.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Then you haven't read it thoroughly enough.
If you put the effort in there are plenty of people here who will help you.
Until then... good luck.
I am putting the effort in but I don’t understand. Shopping park management says they will look into it but as I was parked on hatched lines I shouldn’t have been parked there under any circumstances. The problem is, shopping centre didn’t book me, a private party organised by a parent did. It was they who told me to pull up outside. So management save no responsibility for me parking there, nor does venue as they never booked me. I’m keeping my fingers crossed but when you say work what work is there to do. You say don’t do any thing, didn’t pay, don’t appeal, just ignore. We’re the work in that.0
